My pump is broken so what now?

In the US, leluv and LA pump cylinders are good. In the UK and EU thickwall are a good choice. Table Lamp is taking you through the engineering route to solving your problem though. You may not need a new cylinder, you may just need a better seal. What he hasn’t asked and I will is do you know where air is coming in to the cylinder? Is it from the base of the cylinder, the valve area? (this is what Table Lamp is trying to explore with you).

Losing air at the base.

Definitely don’t pull it out . A 13mm wrench or imperial equivalent (probably 1/2 inch) will do it.

If air is coming in at the base, don’t mess with the valve.

Looks like you need to work on the seal.
Is the cylinder suitable for your size?
Are you shaved around the based of your shaft where the cylinder touches?
Do you prepare the base of the cylinder with a little lube to improve the seal?

I’m a bit puzzled by this. If you’re losing vacuum at the base this is due to a poor seal against your body, normally caused by too long pubic hair. The pressing the end of the cylinder against your stomach exercise should show whether this is the case or not as you can pretty much guarantee a good seal there. If your cylinder/ body seal is not good that is not the fault of the cylinder.

Yes to all these.

Agreed. I hadn’t seen this.

Try pulling back your scrotum as you enter. Make sure you enter erect. Push the pump into your body as you increase the pressure.

What pressure are you pumping to and does it feel the same as it did when you first got the pump? What happens if you go to a higher pressure for a short time?

On a more meta note, you should be able to figure out testing steps for yourself. There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the cylinder but maybe gauge on the pump is an issue. Beyond that it’s technique and there’s lots to read on technique with pumping here.

I tested on my stomach with no hair and it does not hold without losing air. I’d really just appreciate it if someone can guide me to a affordable pump with a direct link or screen shot.

What’s the point in getting a new one if you’ll face the same problems?

If the cylinder has no cracks then it’s just a matter of working on the seal.

No clue and all I know is it does not hold a pump no matter what I try. So no, it does not feel the same as when I first got it.

Maybe it is losing air from the top and I just have no clue. To me, it feels like the base but that doesn’t mean it actually is. Well when your as mechanically challenged as me, that is the only option unfortunately and that is why I wanna stay under $100. I wish there was a repair shop for PE equipment.

You could test this carefully.

First if you can make a good seal with the palm of your hand against the base try that. If it still leaks try holding the cylinder under water and testing again, you should be able to see where the water comes in. Be careful to not drag water into the pump itself. If you can’t cover the base of the cylinder with your hand sit in a bath and try to pump with the cylinder completely submerged. Don’t screw up the actual pump by pumping water through it.

The two main brands that you can get easily in the US have already been mentioned. Just search ebay for leluv or go to the LA pump site.

Do you have that Performance VX7 pump? If so, that female connector is screwed into the top of the cylinder and you should be able to see the O-ring that makes the seal between the connector and cylinder. But first, push in the metal tab on the side of the female connector to release the male connector and hose. Then unscrew the female connector.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Well the replacement encountered the same issue. I barely even used this one and just started back a few weeks ago. Maybe it is the company itself selling bad pumps. I been looking at leluv options on ebay. Will my current gage and hose fit on one or do I need to get one specifically made for the leluv brand. Thanks.
