My pump is broken so what now?

I’ve been very happy with the pump I got from the Matters of Size site. I started with Bathmate years ago and looking back man that was a waste of time. The one on matters of size comes with a pump and water trap and also a rubber end cap for the opening for both cushioning and suction. It’s like $130. Super worth it.

I will not be purchasing a pump from them again. I am sick and tired of a pump losing pressure after only a few uses.

My Leluv Maxi pump has held up great so far, but I’ve only had it since April. I did manage to mangle the o-ring on the QD connector by not making sure the metal piece was out of the way when connecting it, though. And I had a cheap plastic quick release valve quit on me (installed it to make pressure changes easier). But since fixing those issues, it holds strong.

You should look at aquarium vacuums or build your own using acrylic tubing and pressure gauges.

Hygger

You can find Hygger aquarium vacuums on Amazon.

My familiarity with quality generally tells me you get for what you pay. Anything truly reliable will cost you hundreds of well-invested currency. I am quite inclined to believe anything US$100 or less is not manufactured to be reliable or durable for much time. Your monetary limitation dictates the longevity of any such product which can be purchased for that sum. My recommendation is to save and purchase Bathmate’s Ultramale Kit which is six times the sum which you wish not to exceed. However, you will not likely experience this again unless the cylinder drops. Based on your description it seems the cylinder may be cracked. Even a hairline crack will nullify a proper vacuum. Again, a product of this nature is monetarily expensive for more than one reason and one of those reasons is years of reliability and durability. The price of US$100 does not begin to enter middle range quality which correlates directly with its reliability and durability.

I must rescind my comments quoted above. Recently I purchased the Calexotics Optimum Series Executive Automatic Smart Pump: Preliminary Review for less than US$100 and am quite impressed with its power and capability. However, I question strongly for how much time it will perform until it malfunctions for any reason not attributable to me. If it lasts five years I will be surprised for it has got an irreplaceable battery. If the HydroXtreme 9 outlasts this then my comment about reliability may be valid. The marketing mentions twenty minutes but the routine I use is for fifteen minutes which makes me presume it is not as effectual comparative to the [overly] expensive Bathmate HydroXtreme 9.
