Need Advice, Inside diameter at base of tube

Dear Brothers, can someone advise me, I have currently a 2” vacutech flared cylinder and a a same brand 2” thick-walled cylinder, but I am not totally happy with either.

What I want to get is 1 tapered 1.75” cylinder and another tapered 2” cylinder. What I have found on the net either the Kaplan cylinders or the ones I found at Extreme Restraint’s website (look similar) are possibly the ones I want but I need to ensure the inside diameter of the tubes (in particular at the base) are exactly 1.75” and then 2” as I am looking at two stage pumping and my base girth is at least 5.5”.

The 2” vacutech cylinder I have is actually 1.75” at the opening due to the flare, oh yeah I also have/had a 1.75” Boston contoured cylinder where the inside diameter is actually a little smaller than 1.75” which isn’t much good to me and my wife dropped it anyway cracking it!

I hope this makes sense anyone out there with these cylinders who can advise? Thanks.

P.S. I did do a search and couldn’t find this specific info.

Doesn’t anybody have a Kaplan cylinder or similar? Come on somebody throw me a bone!!

I don’t have a Kaplan, but I would assume that a 2” Kaplan would be 2 inches at the opening and taper to something less then that near the end. Why don’t you want a straight wall cylinder with a constant diameter of 1.75 or 2.0?

Thanks for responding G, I’ve got a 2” straight thick wall Vacutech cylinder but it is just a tad too big and my balls start to ache not long after starting to use it. So I’m thinking a tapered cylinder starting with 1.75” and then moving to the 2” would work better.

The taper has nothing to do with your balls. If anything it would restrict the expansion of your glans.

Have you looked at the flared bottom cylinders from lapdist? The flare at the bottom doesn’t let the cylinder dig in, so it is more comfortable.

I’ve measured my Kaplan, and it’s exactly 2” at the base.

With base girth of 5.5 inches, Franga, I would guess that a 2” tube would be perfect for you. Is it possible that you have too much lube at the base? What vacuum level are you using?

If anything, it sounds like you are looking for something the exact opposite of the Kaplan. The Kaplan is wider at the base, and narrows toward the head. You want something that is narrower at the base, and wider at midshaft.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

I’d agree with Lampwick.

I think if you are uncomfortable a $16 Sleeve Master might be worth trying before buying a whole new cylinder.

The Boston Pumps cylinders I have are flared like the Vacu-Tech cylinders. The Sleeve Master is comfy and I don’t even need any lube to get a seal.

$16 bucks might be a worthy gamble.

Before: I'd like to show you something I'm very proud of, but you'll have to move real close.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.

I probably do use too much lube at the base and a water based one at that, so that may be part of the issue, thanks Lampwick. I try to stay around 4-6Hg and shoot for 3-5 sets of approximately 10mins.

Thanks Mr. H, I looked at the sleeve master before but I’m concerned about continuing to grow my base girth and I thought that using the sleeve may create a good seal but hinder m growth.

Thanks for the replies guys. To explain my situation a little further; For a good year I was steadily using my Vacutech 2" Flared Cylinder which has an opening diameter at the base of 1.75" and what happened was I got pretty good base girth gains but the end of my shaft was not expanding enough and I was getting some discoloration after too many sessions/sets.

So my aim is to work on packing a tapered 1.75" cylinder as recommended by I think avocet8 to try and get the upper part of my shaft to expand more and then move up to the 2" tapered tube and try to pack it as my dick is naturally thicker at the base and I want to try and keep it that way. I theorize that if I use a 1.75" tapered tube with heat and then a cool down I could get the tunica to stretch a little more of course coupled with some manual exercises, rather than just interstitial fluid build up.

Also I have noticed when I use the 2" thick walled cylinder apart from the ball ache (excuse the pun) my head doesn’t expand enough to ever look like it would pack the tube, so really I’m looking for something slightly narrower than 2" near the glands.

Again thanks for the replies guys.
