Need Help Selecting A New Pump

Hi everyone. I’m back to pumping and I ran into an issue trying to start up again. My old pump is dysfunctional now because of a few leaks so I had to order a new one. The old one I had was from LeLuv which served me well for the few months I did pumping back in 2022. I went to the site and ordered a new one, waited for 25 days then emailed LeLuv and they told me that the customs in my European country confiscated the delivery which pissed me off a lot. I know it’s not LeLuv’s fault as they ship outside of the EU and that means orders are not only slow to arrive but have to go through customs. If it’s a European site I’ll have no such issues. Can you guys tell me where I can find a pump of similar quality? There are some sex shops over here that I know sell pumps but I don’t trust those to be quality at all.

I like the LeLuv MAXI hand pump and LeLuv Magna electronic pump. I have both and use them for different things. The electronic one is great for cycling vacuum pressure or being totally hands off once you are somewhat packing the tube. The MAXI is good for general purpose, in the sauna (where the temp could fry electronics) and for using water in the tube (I avoid getting water in the pump as best I can but it is easy to shake out if a little gets in while it would ruin an electronic pump).

I think either are a good choice (or something like them) or both if you want flexibility. They aren’t crazy expensive.

I’ve gone through two or three plastic Mityvac pumps. They break at the fulcrum of the pump handle after a while-it’s been a source of frustration for me. I don’t think they are designed for lots and lots of use on the handle like is required for regular pumping. So I say go for something sturdier that is built for lots of use on the pump handle rather than something all made out of plastic that is designed for bleeding brakes once in a while.
