Hi all

I’ve been pumping now for about 1 month and have a few questions.

First when we talk about pressure is it the numbers on the outside or

Inside of the gauge. I have a minivac gauge on my kaplan pump.

The outside numbers go from-5 to -30. The inside are-0.2 to -1.0

Also I’ve been pumping at-10 on the outside number scale. All the way up to -15 is that too much?

I really don’t feel much at all at -3-4 actually I fell hardly anything

At that pressure. Even 5-6 is hardly noticeable.

In all likelihood, the outside numbers are in inches of pressure. So 10 and 15 are definitely too much.

Sometimes I wonder if all of these gauges are calibrated the same. The outer scale sounds like it is the inches of mercury or (in hg) scale. For only one month in, there is no way you should be going over 6 in hg. I have been doing this for years, and I don’t even go to 10, but if I did, it would feel like a lot of pressure and after 10 minutes or so would cause lymph fluid build up and discoloration in a newbie.

Even though you don’t feel it, stay in the 5-6 range for now.

How long do you pump for? Do you go for 10 minutes?

I pump for 10 mins. I do get discolouration and a big donut, but I thought that was proof this stuff was working.

I tried it tonight at 5 and it was a very light session, but still slightly noticeable as far as a pump goes, but nothing compared to 10. No donut or discolouration tonight at 5.

When I pump at 10 or more I gain like 1/2 to 1 inch in girth. Of course it doesn’t last.

I find the red line on my Vacutech very intense so I stay 5 and below

OK, now that is more like it. Stay at 5 in hg and 10 minutes for a week or two and then start doing two 10 minutes sessions at 5 in hg with some jelq massage inbetween pump sets.

The pump after effects build with time and last longer and longer as you go. Staying at the 5 inhg will keep you growing at a reasonable rate without causing discoloration or damage. When you do damage, you do not grow. So be patient, and you will see things improve and results will last longer with time.

My LA pump gauge is weird - it has 5 in hg where it’s supposed to be 4 if I count from 0 point.

Think about it from the opposite direction. Probably due to gauge inaccuracies at very weak vacuums, that first tick represents 2 in hg, not 1. Take the 5 mark as accurate and count backwards.

Good to hear your results are better now. I would recommend either a 6 on 1 off schedule or if you want to stay on a weekly basis, 3 on 1 off, 2 on 1 off. I don’t think every other day is effective. Stay within you limits and you can build off the previous days results.
