Pumping and Peyronie's disease

Pumping and Peyronie's disease

Ey

I think i either have developed Peyronie’s or are in the close proximity to do so. After using the ADS to hard 5 years ago, i was left with a 30 degree twist at the base when 20-30% erect (not really erect). I recently tried to use the ADS very gently in order to correct this, but the twist grew to some 60 degree. One guy in here told me to forget the ADS and try pumping.

I’ve been talking to a doctor who told me pumping could make it worse. This study tells a different story:

Anyway, i’ve tried pumping now for only 2 weeks, and i’m confused. While i’m seeing my erection getting a bit better and my flaccid hangs heavier and got this healty look to it, i get this dull discomfort on my left side (it’s the part of the penis base which continues inside of the body) where my dick twists towards . Strange, as i only have pumped between 2.5 - 3hg, 10 minute per day, 5 times a week the first week. I then took a whole week off, and the dull discomfort slowly faded away. I then tried again, but after todays first session, the feeling is back. It’s hard to say, but i don’t think the twist is getting worse, it may in fact getting better. Difficult to say, as i’m only been able to pump for 6 days totally.

What to make of this dull discomfort feeling? I’ve not been diagnosed with Peyronie’s, and i probably only have a very mild form right now, as most of my penile twisting is shown in flaccid state. Is it safe to continue? I really want to keep doing PE, my dick feels healty, and as i see it, pumping is my only safe bet. I have positive P.I’s, except from the subtle discomfort which makes the whole thing confusing.

Is your cylinder flanged or unflanged? If you’re using an unflanged version, the discomfort may be coming from the base digging into you.

Pumping can help to correct a curve; it may not make everything perfectly straight, depending on the severity of the curve or bend.

How about trying this: Cut your pumping days in half to every other day a week. See if the discomfort continues.

You might also consider DMSO. I know I’ve seen DMSO discussed on Peyronie’s boards. That may not be a bad combination with pumping; DMSO to make things more flexible, and then pumping to give things a gentle stretch.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

I have read that an extender is a medically recommended treatment for Peyronie’s. I also saw one demonstrated on the CBS show, “The Doctors” and they mentioned that an extender is recommended as a treatment for Peyronies.

I’m not sure it is a form of Pyeronie’ what you are describing.

So what is it then?

Just how your penis is shaped? Many penises do have a slight twist due to the fact that TA is not completely simmetric; CC aren’t perfectly simmetric either, and ligs too. If you have Peyronie’ disease there should be a fibrous plaque; never heard of a plaque located on the inner penis though.

One popular protocol is very short cycles daily using various cylinder sizes over many weeks. So, for example, using a 1.5” cylinder, 10 seconds to pump up, a 10 second hold time followed by a 10 second rest time = 30 seconds or 1 cycle. Do 20 cycles or 10 minutes. Keep the vacuum below 5”Hg and any pain. The next week do the same in a 1.75” cylinder. The next week do the same in a 2” cylinder. The go back to the 1.5” cylinder. Lots of guys have had good results and discuss over at the Peyronie forum. Hope you get improvement!

Agreed.

Have you see a urologist? The doctor can tell immediately whether you have peyronie’s or not. He will simply examine your flaccid penis. It takes about 30 seconds. He will be looking for fibrous plaque.

If you do have it, he will treat you. It you do not have it, he will tell you.

My right CC is larger than my left, and I too have a twist at the base. Additionally I point somewhat to the left. That is just the way I am built. As marinera says that is how many guys are built.
