Pumping produces permanent gains

I have also returned to pumping after a long break and am really enjoying the feeling of of a heavy plump dick for several hours after a session. Although the initial post-pump engorgement subsides within an hour or so, I am getting a residual heavy plumpness in my dick for several days which is really noticeable during night erections when the girth feels huge. My current routine is 2 x 30 minutes sessions 3 days a week. Pressure is moderate around 3Hg, which is just on the limit of pain-free expansion. I have a solid 6” girth and I pack the base of my 2.25” x 10” cylinder. I have tried many different pump routines over the years, but longer sets at moderate pressure seems to be working well for me at the moment.

I am really enjoying pumping more than I ever did. I suspect that it might be that before, when I was pumping a few years back, I was also able to stretch/jelq from 5.5 erect length and 5.25 erect girth to 6.5 erect length and 5.45 erect girth before I had to move, and didn’t have the privacy. I lost my un’PEd gains, but pumping has brought a bit of it back, and my stretching and jelqing (I like to do light stretching before I get erect to enter the pump, with a warmup before stretching, and a short second warm up, both with a rice sock, after stretching.) is starting to help my pumps last longer.

Right now, my pumps last about an hour, and it is such a great feeling that once my erection goes down, it still hangs heavier and thicker in a flaccid state for a while. My unpumped size has improved also, but I suspect that a part of that is rooted in regaining what I had lost from prior year and a half of PE’ing.

My question now is which is easier to develop through pumping, flaccid size, or erect size?

Most people see changes first in flaccid size.
Its quiet possible to maintain a bigger flaccid if you pump reguarly while your erect isnt going up. (which might mean you need more intensity or more time in the pump)

This is a great thread! Thank you to everyone for their feedback and experience. I’ve been pumping regularly for about 3 months now with a bathmate and I love it as well. I’ve been doing a 5-10 min warm up while the bath fills up and doing some light stretches to gain an erection. Then my first set is 3-5 min and I don’t pump it to full pressure. Maybe half or so. After that first set I wait 1-2 min and again do light stretches. My next two sets are normally 5 min or so each at full pressure. When I first started out I would try and go longer and I was getting the donut effect. This seems to be the perfect routine for me and I’m not seeing any ill side effects. Bathmate recommends 3 - 5min sets once every 24 hours so I’m close to what they recommend. I like the first set shorter and not full pressure cause just like when working out it’s best not to go full weight right away cause it’s a good way to cause injuries. Thanks again to all who’ve posted here with advice.

Bumping this six year old thread. I’ve achieved permanent gains by interval pumping for 20 sets of 0-1 min reps. I pump at 7-10 inHg. Higher pressures at 0 min, which pumps it up to the pressure and then immediately releases. I use the LeLuv electric smart pump.

Started: BPEL 6.5", EG 4.5"

Current: BPEL 8.0", EG 5.3"

Goal: BPEL 8.5", EG 5.5"

How much did you increase and in how long?

How much do you pump at 0 minutes (inHG)?

Do you think the long sets don’t work (3x5 min or 3x10 min)?

I have the same pump as you.
