Pumping question

Hello guyes, I’m going to start some pumping and I wonder, which pump should I buy. I am not looking for anything cheap, but something with a good value. Can someone recommend me an internet site and pump type, where I can order it?

The three “nice” ones are vacutech, pumptoys, and lapdist. If you want the best quality pumptoys seems to offer it. It also has the steepest price, go figure. There are cheaper decent tubes like Joel Kaplan.

The problem with the Kaplan cylinders is that they taper toward the top. It’s easy to pack the tube with your glans before you have completely packed the tube with your shaft.

Gprent is too modest to mention it but Selecting Your Cylinder Size is his thread. I don’t know of anyone who followed his advice who wasn’t happy that they had done so.

I bought a Velseal cylinder and male coupler from pumptoys, a vacuum pump from Harbor Freight Tools, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality. The only thing that bothers me is that I have been pumping for almost 2 months now, and I don’t think I am seeing any permanent results.

The secret is to keep with it. Also, many recommend manual exercises like jelqing to supplement pumping.

I own a LAPump 2” flared cylinder and a Vacutech 2.25” cylinder.

I personally am a fan of thick walled cylinders. The flared cylinders made it very easy for my testicles to get pulled towards the tube; a very uncomfortable feeling. I actually physically cut off the flare on my 2” tube becuase I could not stand pumping with a flared cylinder.

I was decided for the pump on Lapdist, but now I have read, that it has a flared cylinder and that is not so good. I am thinking now of thick wall cylinder and I wonder, if there is any difference by selecting the proper size: should I buy the same diameter and lenght as according to one thread in this forum?

I also wonder, if I need to buy some sealing for the pump?

If I am going to buy parts from Vacutech and have one customized kit, which parts do I need to buy to get a working set?

By the way, any recommendation for some sites, where ican buy it in Europe? I’m living in Europe and if I take it from States, I need to make the custom clearance..

Most guys like the flared cylinders and think they are way more comfortable then the thick wall. I also read the post where one guy preferred thick wall to flared, but that was just one report.

The process of selecting the proper size is the same for all cylinders as it is a function of the inside diameter and has nothing to do with the external shape of the cylinder.

You will need lubrication to help seal the tube. I like water based lubes like KY jelly because they are easy to clean and some guys prefer oil based. You have to choose.

Pump parts from different manufacturers are interchangeable. You do not need special parts to make them work.

European vendors probably have their pumps imported from the US anyways, so they charge more. Customs might slow things down a bit, but you should have no trouble getting your equipment.
