Does anyone know if it makes any difference if you reduce pressure gradually when coming out of the cylinder? Can I just take the gauge down to zero in a second, or is there some benefit to easing the pressure down say from 6Hg-0Hg over a few minutes?

Ditto. I’ll often put on a silicone full package ring during my last set. I’ll hold my max pressure for about 30 seconds, then slide out the tube and immediately apply a cold compress. Been doing it for a few weeks now and has been working wonders for post-pump.

Thanks guys. I appreciate your input! I’m just going to take the pressure right down. ILogPE, this is the first I’ve heard of applying COLD, post-pump. What’s your reasoning for doing that?
