Pumping Using Powder Instead of Liquid Lubricant

I’ve tried searching for threads talking about this but I have not found any.

I am currently using powder instead of liquid lube now, and have found it to be more effective in terms of creating a vacuum focused on the actual shaft. It’s main advantage I have come to observe is that it doesn’t pull much pubic fat pad through the hole in the silicon sleeve compared to when using a liquid lubricant. The suction feels like it’s focused along the entire length of the shaft. Also, I noticed that I can withstand higher pressures when using powder before feeling any discomfort, reaching pressures up to 20 mmHg.

I do not understand the physics of it, but I will now use powder onwards.

If you guys want to try this, please do share your experience.

I find that more friction helps limit the fat pad pull into the cylinder. Is this what you mean?

That’s what I use. I just make sure to use a cylinder I can’t pack, so I don’t have any risk of getting stuck. Also suggest starting with an erection and bone pressing the tube into your fat pad as you begin to pump up to make sure you get full length insertion.

I would also like to add that I have a bent penis, and my glans touches the walls of the cylinder when pumping, which is the mainly the reason I need something to prevent the glans from sticking to the walls. Powder has proven to be the best for this particular function.

Yes, baby powder is better for pumping shaft more than skin, it also provides a better grip at the base imo.

I am also using johnson’s baby powder, but I will do this more from now on, most of my pumping sets are done with lube because I was kind of thinking that it would break a rule or something and might not work. Thankfully, there was already someone else who covered it, couldn’t find anything else on the topic though, everybody seems to use lube for pumping. But the way some pictures look like there wasn’t almost any lube used, some guys probably don’t use any type of lube, the tube looks clean and clear, wich is something I look to maintain as well, but I fail miserably when using too much lube, it slowly became a turn off for me somehow.

Considering cornstarch is edible, I would say it is very safe.

Serendipitous that this thread got revived because I’d been wondering if dry lubes would work. Mostly because I get tired of trying to clean up wet lube.

What about cornstarch itself from the kitchen? Or is the baby powder cornstarch preferred?

A diy recipe for cornstarch baby powder is to mix equal parts corn starch and baking soda. Not sure but don’t know why using 100% corn starch would be an issue. Corn starch can cause repiritory issues if exposed to too much of it. This is more likely to be a problem for infants than adults.
