Question about mity vac pump

I was looking into buying a Mitty vac pump but checker auto wants almost 50 dollars for the brake bleeder pump with a gauge. Now my question is the brake bleeder and the automotive test kit/ vacuum tester do the same thing basically?Only thing different that i can see is that the brake bleeder has a bottle to hold the brake fluid while you pump or at least i think. Never really used that kind of brake bleeder for cars always an air hose design. I can get the brake bleeder at cost from where i work for 27 dollars and the automotive test kit for 37 dollars. They are both the plastic design.

Price the mity vac II pump (with a gauge) at AutoZone. They used to sell for around $26 where I live.

I have a Silverline Plus MityVac, I forgot the price you can google for it. The pump is a sort of metal, with guage. It also has a PRESSURIZE valve. you can push air thru it or suck air thru it. This can help you release the pressure in the cylinder quickly too just for convenience .
