I have also been following Bagman’s routine; but cycling pressure every 5 minutes; e.g. 6 x 5 minutes at 4hg, dropping to 1hg for 30 seconds after each 5 minute set. If time permits, I will do 12 x 5 minutes (just over one hour of pumping when you add in the 30 seconds lower pressure breaks). Like you I have also been experiencing very noticeable temporary gains, which I hope will eventually cement into permanent gains.

Coming from a veteran pumper, this seems to be a good endorsement of the technique. I’m definitely going to give this a try!

Did 12ml Ellanse (4 year version) in 2018 for 0.6" girth, have not lost any to date.

IrishJim,

Do you get any donut effect with the number of sets you do? If so after which set do you begin to notice it. I like to clamp after each combined 20min set. I feel this helps to add firmness to my unit. I would love to try for more pumping sets but I think the clamping may be adding more pressure which may increase the pumping’s likelihood to give me a donut.

I could never nor would ever stop clamping, clamped edging feels to good. On top of that I have experienced gains from it. I like to think the clamping helps to cement the pumping session. This is why I clamp after I pump. I have seen that some clamp before they pump. I feel I don’t get as much expansion with this method. And one combine the two here? If so, which order do you go in?

I'm on my way to 8th and Long. Yeah, she's cummin too!

I have been pumping on and off for a very long time and I know my limits in terms of pressure and time. Anything above 4.5hg is donut territory for me; so I never go there. I only pump 2 or 3 days a week now and typically would do 6 x 5 minutes; occasionally going up to 1 hour when time permits. None of these sessions results in a donut as the key for me is always staying under 5hg. Sorry for the delay in replying as I missed your post first time around.

Thanks for the reply. I haven’t been able be be as consistent is I would like with my sessions. I do a similar routine to you as I do 5 minute intervals with a 60 count or (30 second) break between them. I have found that this routine gives me a nice flaccid hang with no donut effect. Hour session are just too long and I don’t have the time nor am I convinced they are necessary. I also never go above 5hg these days. Again thanks for the reply.
