Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Lampwick: Thanks for the info!

No I didn’t see that thread, I’ll have to search alittle better next time :)

I’m thinking about making a homemade setup.

I found a pump with a gauge and I found a gravel tube but the tube is only 1.66” ID.

Would a 1.66” tube work? My girth is between 4.5”-4.75”

Thanks!

Sounds like it would be worth trying, especially if it isn’t too expensive. The circumference of a 1.66” ID cylinder is 5.2” (3.14159*1.66), so there should be some room for expansion.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Here’s a question gprent:

I’m around 5.5 mid shaft girth and 5.75-6 base girth. I can pack my 9x2 cylinder pretty fast with about 75% of the penis touching the sides 360 degrees. The last bit the sides touch but the bottom has a slight gap. I would keep using this cylinder if it were not for my glans expanding within the tube and pressing against the sides as well. This gets pretty uncomfortable over time. So I’ve moved up to a 9x2.25 tube and it is way more comfortable, I pack the bottom 30% of the tube and the rest is still clear. Should I continue using the 9x2.25 tube and hopefully I will eventually pack it? My main goal for pumping is girth gains. Thanks.

Yes, just keep doing what you are doing. You are on the right track.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

My midshaft girth is around 4.5, base girth is 5+ and my glans size can get upto 6 girth, it’s about 5.25+ on average when erect though. Would a 1.75 tube do it for me or should I go for a 2” diameter tube? I mainly wanna target base and midshaft girth not glans although it wouldnt hurt if it would come along.

Because of your large head size, I think you should go for the 2” tube. But, because the 2” tube might give you problems with you balls being sucked into the tube, I think you can try pumping with no lube. No lube will greatly reduce the ball sucking issue and since you will have lots of shaft room, you will not pack the tube and get stuck. The lube is really necessary when you are packing and it helps you slide out once you are finished pumping.

Thanks Lampwick!

I got all my stuff yesterday, and tried it out lastnite, it did an outstanding job.

I love my homemade pump! :)

So, the size is working out for you?

Just consider yourself warned - this may be your first cylinder, but if things go well for you with pumping, it likely won’t be your last.

Not that that’s a bad thing… :)

Yes, the size is working ok.

Thanks for the warning! I hope all goes well, and it won’t be my last cylinder. :)

And no, it’s not a bad thing :)

I have a major case of the Baseball bat.

I have a 5.25 base and a 5.7-5.9 midshaft girth.

Would I get a 1.75 or 2 if I’m just going for length?

Does any company make “in between” sizes? I was looking for a 2 1/8”…

Get the 2”. Since the base usually expands faster then the rest of the shaft, hopefully by the end of each pumping session you will have equal girth for the entire length. :) If you got the 1.75, your upper shaft girth would be cutting off the vacuum to the base and that would not be good for your symmetry.

Not that I know of. Do you already have a 2” or are you looking to buy your first cylinder and are having trouble between buying a 2” or 2.25”? If you are having trouble deciding, just give me your erect base girth and I will help.

Cylinder size

Hi Guys,

I’m thinking about getting a pump, but a have a couple of questions I want to ask first. I’m 6.5” BPEL and 4.25” BG and 4.4” (up to 4.5” when I don’t pull foreskin down tightly - I’m uncut) MSG and up, so basically I have a skinny baseball bat - great stuff! Anyway according to gparent’s post I should get a cylinder with 1.5” diameter. As I am near the upper end of the scale though would I be able to get away with 1.75”? I want to do this right so if the answer is now then that’s fine, but because of the cost if I could get away with buying the 1.75” that would be great. And what length would I get 8” or 9”?

And if I bought the 1.5” diameter after I’d finished with it would that mean I would be at 4.75” EG? I just check on a calculator and 1.5” would mean a circumference of 4.71”. I’m guessing that when I wasn’t in the tube my erect girth would naturally be a rock hard 4.70”, or maybe I’m wrong. I’d appreciate answers from any experience pumpers but if gparent could answer that would be ace seeing as you started the thread.

Edit: forgot to say that I don’t really care to much about length; my goal is to increase girth hopefully at least up to 5”.

Thanks in advance,

Ben1966
