Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Thank you so much for the detailed info. Much appreciated!

At 8” is 9” cylinder not long enough? I thought the cylinder was supposed to be 2-3 inches longer to accommodate the expansion.

OK, I just found that penisdepot does sell a 10” cylinder. If you go to the home page and click on cylinders, scroll down near the bottom and you will find a rimmed 10” straight wall for $70.

Then click on their pump selection at the top of the page and you can buy just the pump for $65.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I pack my 2.25 tube, but it generally takes me a long time (45 min. or more) to pack all the way to the glans. I still have about an inch of free space length-wise when it’s packed. Though I love the post-pump hang after packing, I kind of assumed, without basis, that the real growth stimulus occurs before the tube is fully packed. Should be considering a larger tube at this point?

Yes it is true, there is no real benefit to packing the cylinder other then a visual stimulating effect. Staying in the cylinder too long after packing can cause head blisters and those should be avoided at all costs because they are such a bitch.

You are close to investing in a 2.5” tube for sure. Then what you can do is start off in the 2.25 and when you get close to packing, switch over to the 2.5 and continue your routine. This is called staging.

Don’t go up more that .25” diameter at a time when choosing a new tube or you will get a tube that is way too large.

Thanks, gprent. Guess I’ll be off to penisdepot one of these days. Although I stumble through many parts of life on a trial-and-error basis, I think I’ll just take your word for it on the blisters. Ouch!

When selecting length, choose a cylinder that is between 2 and 3 inches longer then your bone pressed erect length.

For selecting diameter, use the table below.

<table class=”tborder” cellpadding=”4” cellspacing=”1” border=”0” align=”center” width=”50%” style=”text-align: center”><tr><td class=”tcat”><strong>Base Girth</strong></td><td class=”tcat”><strong>Cylinder Diameter</strong></td></tr><tr><td class=”alt1”>3.50 to 4.50*</td><td class=”alt1”>1.50</td></tr><tr><td class=”alt2”>4.75 to 5.25*</td><td class=”alt2”>1.75</td></tr><tr><td class=”alt1”>5.50 to 6.00*</td><td class=”alt1”>2.00</td></tr><tr><td class=”alt2”>6.25 to 6.75*</td><td class=”alt2”>2.25</td></tr><tr><td class=”alt1”>7.00 to 7.50*</td><td class=”alt1”>2.50</td></tr><tr><td class=”alt2”>7.75 to 8.25*</td><td class=”alt2”>2.75</td></tr></table>

*If you are at the upper limit and are going for length, select the cylinder diameter straight across in the table. If you are at the upper limit and are going for girth, select the next cylinder size up. Example: Your base girth measures 5.25. If your goal is length, select the 1.75 cylinder. If your goal is girth, select the 2.0 cylinder.

Hi gprent,
my girth is 6,5. For length it is better a cylinder 2. 1/4 or 2.1/2. ?

Thanks

I would go for the 2.25” diameter tube.

I’ve followed this guide and I am curious about something. At the base of my cylinder, a lot of my skin (fat pad) gets sucked up and that is what creates the seal. Is this okay or does it affect the session? No matter how hard I try I can’t prevent it from happeneing.

Yes, that is perfectly OK. But have you ever tried pumping without lube to see if you can still get a seal with a little less skin suck?

No, I haven’t tried that. I’ll give it a go next time! thanks.

Thank you gprent.

I ordered the MetalVacII Pump with the Straightwall Tappered Cylinder, 2.5” ID width at 10” length. I’m looking forward to see how using a pump with my other routines accelerates my growth. :)

I noticed that they also have an AquaVac pump (air or water) which looks interesting. Do you think that after some time I might want to add this pump & use water?

The weird thing is that I used a piece of floss to measure the absolute base & came out to 7-7.2” which was really surprising. Ok truthfully, I was shocked. I always measured with a tape measure & would get around 6.5” base girth. However, the circumference quickly drops (within a half inch up the shaft) to 6.5” & then tapers to about 5.5” mid shaft. So I’m hoping the 2.5” is the best choice. FYI, if it helps, I use a 2” wide (computes out to 6.28” circumference) metal cock ring (beneathe the testicles) so it would seem that 2 1/2” cylinder width should be perfect, right?

I guess worse case scenario I will have to go back & order another sized cylinder.

If it packs to the glans it will creep forward in the tube length iise. Keep an eye out for head blisters, I found I have about fifteen minutes. Also the stretch inside the cock beats any extender ive used. A reason for pumping with not as wide of a tube is the cock will stretch out more in the length direction.

dj, were you replying to something I wrote?

I’ve been using an extender, but also have been jelqing over a year now. I’m happy with my gains, but hoping you’re right that a pump will either work better or accelerate my progress. I still plan to use the extender, but not sure if pumping & jelqing the same day is too much. I just ordered pump so guess I’ll figure it out when I come to that bridge.

The reason I’m more focused on cylinder width is because I’m focused on girth. The cylinder gives me a couple inches to spare on length, & I have no plans to reach 10”, maybe 8.5-9” max. I say that now :)

Which one of these vacuum pumps is good to purchase with the cylinder I recently bought from LA Pump?

I got my 1.75x8 cylinder from LA Pump so all that’s left is getting a proper vacuum pump with a gauge.

I’m thinking the Brake Bleeder and Vacuum Pump Kit by U.S. General looks pretty good for $28.99. Keep in mind you’ll still need the male adapter to connect the vacuum pump to your cylinder.
