Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Those are pretty expensive cylinders, so I want to make sure you don’t outgrow your cylinder too quickly, but it is still comfortable to use. Because those cylinders do not have a flange at the base, I think you can get away with going slightly larger in diameter without having the problem of your balls being drawn into the tube. So for a circular thick wall cylinder, I would recommend a 10”X2 1/4”. Unfortunately your girth puts you right on the dividing line between a 2” diameter and a 2.25” diameter. If your girth right down near the base is close to 6 inches, then I will feel very comfortable with my recommendation.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I should have listened to you and not the manafacturer. I ended up ordering the 2” cylinder and I could barely get my glans in it, and I was fully packing the cylinder within a minute of being in it. Looks like I paid 160 for a cylinder I’m going to use once. Live and learn!

P.S: It was an eliptical thickwall cylinder, not the regular.

Started: 5/14/12- BPEL: 8.00" MEG: 5.5"

Current: 10/22/12- BPEL: 9.0" MEG: 5.875"

Goal: NBPEL 8"++, MEG 6"+

I tried figuring it out by reading the thread, I might have missed it though. My girth mid shaft and at the bases is 5.5 and I would like to focus on girth. Do you recommend a 2 or 2.25 cylinder

Ok, here is my question, for water pumping is tube size that important?

I know that for air pumping per the chart I would use a 2” tube. But for water pumping I am considering a 2.5 or maybe even a 2.75 cylinder, do any of you know a good reason not to go with either of those?

Dandyist,

What was the measurements on the thickwall.

I found out, that in a packed tube, that the cock will stretch in the length direction if you just be patient and if you are lubed….

After reading many pages (but not yet all) of the incredibly useful posts on the Pumpers Forum, I decided that I need to give pumping a real try. I am always willing to do a little trial by error in terms of routines but would appreciate any confirmation/guidance on whether I am making a good decision on a pump. I am currently 6.75” BPEL and ~5.25” girth (a little more MEG and less BEG). The sizing charts suggest 1.75” diameter but my only concern is that it doesn’t have too much room for girth gains. Do I dare go for the 2” and hope I can grow into it relatively quickly or should I just accept the high-class problem of needing to buy a 2” tube some time in the future? I would prefer not to shave my pubic hair. Is the tube with a flange sufficient or do I need to buy a silicone cylinder as well?

Since LA Pump has the flange base, I was leaning toward their wide mouth package with a 1.75”x9” tube. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

11/20/2011: BPEL: 6", MEG: 4.75" (goal BPEL: ~7", MEG: 5.25")

5/9/12: BPEL: 6.5", MEG 5" (goal BPEL: 7.25", MEG: 5.5")

3/5/13: BPEL: 6.875", MEG 5 5" (max goal BPEL: 7.5", MEG: 5.75")

Sorry for missing this question for so long, but the 2” cylinder is the one for you.

Usually, water pumping is done when you are full package pumping as you can use a large cylinder with lots of volume so there can be plenty of water plus an air space at the top of the cylinder so that water doesn’t get sucked into the pump.

If you try water pumping just your cock with a cylinder that is too large, like the 2.5 or 2.75, the tendency will be for your balls to be sucked into the cylinder and since there is not quite enough space for them, it will be uncomfortable.

I would recommend air pumping with a 2” cylinder for cock only and if you want to do full package water pumping I can help set you up with that.

I would consider getting the 1.75” cylinder and you can save a little money by getting it from PenisDepot:

Get the metal pump with a flanged cylinder for $125 and that price includes shipping.

If you want to go with LA Pump, that 1.75” wide mouth will give you more room to grow over a 1.75” round cylinder.

You might have to end up shaving at least your shaft hair down to the base.

I have just ordered an thickwall 2” cylinder and 10” long and my base girth is 0,5 cm over 6” and for me that cylinder working just great.. but I going for lenght and an bigger head, and that’s perfect with that cylinder size with my dick size 9”*6.1”

I think your cylinder is just perfect.. lube up well and enter it at least 50% erect and you will do great

If you are 9” already, I would have gone for a 12” cylinder. A bit of extra space at the top does no harm. Thickwall make great cylinders though!

Much thanks G.
So after reading up on full package pumping that sounds like the way to go for me. I read your thread on the Sun Tea Jar. Any additions to that? And thanks for your response too bro.

I think there are a couple of threads on using a STJ, just wanted to make sure you got the info in this one:
