Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Okay, thanks. I’ll try it out first when it gets delivered tomorrow. I guess that can’t hurt, or maybe it will. Thing is, it was pretty cheap compared to other pumps. Plus, I like cheap.

Penis measurements.

A cyllinder from 1-2” greater than your BPEL keeps enthusiasm and confidence up in the pumping as your stretch toward the end of the cyllinder mm by mm.

I finally went and ordered a proper pump and cylinder after giving up pumping a few years ago using a homemade fish gravel tube. I am 8.5” BPEL x 5.6” EG so I bought the 11” x 2” Oval Cylinder from Mr S Leather on Amazon at a very low price. In Australia the shipping price makes a huge difference.

The standard sizes they make are 9” but I can see me filling that up while pumping so I went with the larger 11” not wanting to have wasted my money. I went with the oval tube hoping it would make a difference in my girth gains as that is what concentrating on.

Any thoughts?

Picked up a silicone donut for the cylinder, but it severely reduces the opening size in a way that I can’t fit. Do people cut these to adjust them?

Sounds like you got a good deal on a very nice cylinder that should fit you perfectly. Only one thing to do now and that is break it in.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Professional flanged or thick wall cylinders do not need rubber sleeves or donuts to make them work/comfortable. I don’t know what kind of cylinder you have, but are you sure you even need the donut?

I suppose I don’t need it, but I was hoping for the increased seal it offered

Yeah, the price from Mr. S Leather is pretty damn good compared to others. Let’s see how good it is though. I plan to break that sucker in good. Slow and steady.

Speaking of, is there any evidence or experience behind the claims that oval pumping can speed up results by 40% or offer better results than a standard circular cylinder? Just curious. I know better to believe such marketing claims but the idea of a oval cylinder working your cc better does seem convincing.

Either way, I’ll be sure to keep everyone posted and post pics showing my progress.

I really don’t think your cock knows if it is in an oval cylinder or a pickle jar. Especially if your cock is not touching the sides, it is just suspended in a vacuum and it doesn’t matter the shape of the container. The diameter and shape can effect the tendency for your balls to be sucked into the tube and unless you are going for full package pumping, that can be a hassle.

I’m looking to replace an oversize (2.50”) cylinder that I adapted for pumping use. I think I’m a bad shopper/searcher, because I seem to be having trouble finding the correct size.

I’m about 8.5 BPEL, which makes me think a 9” cylinder is too short. My MSEG (on a good day) is 5.75”, and most of the shaft is within .1” of that figure. I have rarely checked base girth, and am less confident of the accuracy of the measurement there, because I feel like turkey neck throws me off. I’m sure it is at least 6.25”, and most of my string measurements fall between 6.5-6.75”. Based on the opening post, this seems to indicate a need a 2.25” cylinder. Is that right? Should I use base girth for sizing even where it is substantially different from the rest of the shaft?

Scroll down this page: and look for the rimmed straight wall cylinder that sells for $70 and is 10” long and order it in the 2.25” diameter. It should fit you perfectly and the 2.25” diameter will be capable of taking you up to 7” girth.

I am assuming your pumping equipment has quick disconnect plumbing, because these cylinders all feature a female quick disconnect fitting.

(Continued. Phone malfunction made me split post.)

I spent quite a bit of time checking various sites for LeLuv cylinders, partly because other folks’ recent experience with prompt processing shipping - which would fit my needs. Anyway, all LeLuv cylinders I found at 2.25” diameter or larger were 9” length. There were some 12” cylinders, but only with diameters of 2.0” or smaller. Am I missing something? This doesn’t make sense to me.

If anyone has suggestions, re: sizing, cylinder brands, sites to check, I’d appreciate it.

Yes it looks like LeLuv has a limited size selection. Go to the penisdepot site I just gave you a couple of posts back.

Damn, you’re quick. Thanks. I think I did browse there today, and I’ll check it out more closely and find out about shipping options.

My current setup does not have any quick disconnect feature. I have a Harbor Freight pump, or I apply oral suction when water pumping. Does this mean I will need male couplers?

Shipping is included in the price or in other words free.

Yes you will need a male coupler. Best price is here: McMaster-Carr Order part number 5012k251. If you need more plastic tubing to fit that male coupler, take the coupler to Home Depot and buy the tubing there. In my Home Depot the tubing is in the plumbing section on the same aisle as the irrigation supplies.

Thinking about one of the vacutech thickwall pumps, what size cylinder should I be using? Sitting at almost 8.7bpel and 5.75 Meg currently.

Thanks guys!
