Selecting Your Cylinder Size

So if I am already at 5.5” base girth and I want to go for length, should I get the 1.75” or the 2” cylinder? I am thinking of ordering from picturebrite if it makes a difference.

What shape is your penis?

At 5.5” base girth, I would go for the 2.0” diameter cylinder.

If you buy the 1.75” cylinder, know that there’s a good chance you’ll outgrow it before long. Keep in mind that the circumference of a 1.75” cylinder is almost exactly 5.5” - or, right where you are now.

Or, at the price the Picturebrite cylinders go for, buy ‘em both and use them for staged pumping.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Well it is 5.5 at base but tapers down to midshaft of around 4.8 or so. So I was thinking the 1.75 would suffix for purely length gains and the rest would thicken up to the 5.5 max the tube would provide for girth.

I have a master guage pump. I have had it for years now . How long would it take me to pack the tube?? Even though it has been years . On a side note my BPEL is 7.5” and my base EG is 5.875”.

Another thing I have never packed my tube because I think I was using way too much pressure like 10 hg. I didn’t know that was dangerous at the time. luckily my erections are the same then I just lost interest altogether. Haven’t been interested intil I was reading this thread. Thanks for hearing me out.

Ok the recent thread about pumps has finally made me get one. There is a local sex shop I am thinking about visiting to just see if they have pumps or not. If they do I will report back on the brands/types they have so you guys can compare and contrast with me, but I was wondering. I how much better is it to just make your own pump ( with fist tank supplies, tubing and what not ) than purchase a fully complete one? Obviously price would be cheaper going with the homemade right?

By the way just starting out in pumping and stats are
BPEL - 6.25”
BPFSL - 6.5”
BEG - 4.25”
MEG - 4”
Girth Right Below Glans - 3.5”

There are some things where there are lower-cost substitutes which are just as good, such as the hand pump with gauge:
Lap pump = harbor freight tools pump

Or an electric pump (although these do not include a gauge, so are not so much for a newbie):
$15 electric vacuum pump for anyone!

Then you need the tubing and the male connector. I’ll edit the link in later for the male connector source.

What’s left is the cylinder, and if you’re going to spend money, that’s where you want to put your money. The main problem with the fish tank cleaners is that the walls are thin, the base is not comfortable without extra work, and the sizes are limited (and tend to be small).

And you don’t have to put a great deal of money into the cylinder, especially when you’re still figuring out if pumping is for you. But the cylinders you buy, which include a female connector, are going to be better than most homemade cylinders.

I think it would be extremely wise for me to grab one with a gauge.
I visited the sex shop, they had only one pump with a gauge and was priced at $60..
Where would you be able to buy just a cylinder? Most preferably glass right?

LApump

Vacutech

VelSeal

Boston Pump

These appear to be among the most recommended by members and I believe they are mostly made of acrylic. The cost ranges from $60 - $90. I have seen others in the $50 area, but you should do a search.

Make sure you read the stickies at the beginning of the forum. You will find lots of good information.

Went back to the sex shop had my mind made up on the pump with a guage, purchased it ( even knowing I probably didn’t have the girth required to benefit from the tube… ) also bought an Adonis Silicone cock ring and a Support Plus Enhancer Ring ( has steel bars inside the rubber ring ) Figured what the heck PE is worth spending money on and losing money to learn lessons ( foolish, naive, and very newbie but lesson learned done deal on the matter )

The tube has a 2.5” diameter. Made of plastic. When I tried it out I got as hard as possible, lubed up, and inserted all the way to the base. I felt the slight suction take hold. Started pumping only went up to 5HG ( not trying to hurt myself) from what people describe as packing the tube ( dick reaches the walls of the tubes? ) I was no where even close to that, and I felt the pump sucking on the skin around my base and pulling some of my sack up into it. I never went far enough to have it hurt and only had it in there for maybe a minute ( my dick sure did swell in size both in length and in girth and more veins popped out ) I am just concerned that I bought too big of a tube.

As for the cock rings, I am thinking of using the metal enforced one for a routine after jelqing since it may last a little longer. Then using the silicone one just for sex ( tried the silicone one on, felt pretty good nice and snug at the base. Veins were nice and popping as I edged just a little with it on )

Will send a pic of the pump as soon as the battery on my camera is charged enough.

Mainly I am thinking of just taking the pump and removing it from the tube and just attaching it to a homemade fish tank tube if I can find it with a smaller girth.

BPEL - 6.25”
BPFSL - 6.5”
BEG - 4.25”
MEG - 4”
Girth Right Below Glans - 3.5”

Reposting my stats so people don’t have to search for them ( if they need them to give me advice on my situation )

The perfect size tube for you would be 1.5” diameter, or you could go as high as 1.75” diameter. That 2.5” tube is probably big enough for you to do full package pumping.

Try going to penisdepot.com and buy a 9”X1.75” rimmed straightwall cylinder for only $65 and that price includes shipping.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks gprent. I have it ordered as of now. Will post back once it arrives.

When selecting length, choose a cylinder that is between 2 and 3 inches longer then your bone pressed erect length.

*If you are at the upper limit and are going for length, select the cylinder diameter straight across in the table. If you are at the upper limit and are going for girth, select the next cylinder size up. Example: Your base girth measures 5.25. If your goal is length, select the 1.75 cylinder. If your goal is girth, select the 2.0 cylinder.

Good job, thanks for the data

I received two emails so far from the website saying that I purchased the pump and that they would send me an email with a tracking number. That was three days ago, I am just curious is the website usually that flooded with orders that it may take them awhile to deliver? It does say they mail within 2 - 4 business days. Sort of getting anxious over this, I want my pump and hopefully to get the box before anyone sees it!

Hey guys,

I want to start pumping, but I have a question about the cylinder size.
My penis girth is 6,4 inches but I have a very flat dick, it is 6 cm (2,4 inches) in diameter.
So instead of getting the 2.25 inch diameter cylinder, I have to get the 2.5 inch cylinder.
2.5 X pi = 7.8 inches girth. I really want to make length gains, and I don’t think I can gain as much length if I get a cylinder this wide.
Do you guys think I will gain length if I get a cylinder this wide?

Starting: BPEL / 20 cm ---- EG / 16,4 cm
