Definately 1.75” in my opinion. I’m a pumping newbie but I have 4 cylinders and the closest one to my size (smallest one) is far easier to use and gives better results. Thickwalls pumps are great quality probably among if not the best and 1.75 is 48mm which is 150mm circumference.

Yes, cylinder selection goes according to base girth because that is where the cylinder seals to the body. As I say on the chart, if your base girth is 5.25 and you are interested in girth as you seem to be, then get the 2” cylinder.

Guys react differently to different forms of PE so selecting the one that works best is often a case of trial and error. For me, I love pumping, but pumping combined with jelqing is also excellent. As a newbie, you should condition yourself to whatever method you select by doing the newbie routine.

The pump may not be the best type of PE for length. Have you done any form of PE like jelqing or stretching or hanging? Have you done the newbie routine?

I tried jelqing (not as newbie routine, though) but it seems it didn’t work at all. Aren’t there tools for this?

How long did you try doing jelqing? Honestly PE isn’t for the “weak hearted”. It takes work, tools can help but the manuals are the life blood of the “trade” so to speak. You might have given up on jelqing too soon or not performing it right.. honestly the newbie routine is recommended by everyone on here for a reason and most of the gains here would say they have gone through the newbie routine. It becomes a part of your routine over time, just like going to the gym or other activities. If you’re looking for short cuts… unfortunately it likely wont turn into results for you. PE is a long term game and one that requires work and commitment.


Start: Nov. 2017 - FL: 3.5", FG: 4", BPEL: 6.813, EL: 6.25", MSEG: 4.75"

Current: Feb. 2018 - FL: 4.75", FG: 4.625", BPEL: 7.375", EL: 6.8125", MSEG: 5.25"

Short term: NBPEL: 7"x5.25" - Ideal: NBPEL: 7.5"x5.5" - Dream: NBPEL:8"x6"

This thread is about selecting your cylinder size. I think you should be looking for answers like this in the Penis Enlargement Basics Forum where at the top of the page you will find the newbie routine plus all sorts of threads on other forms of PE.

Waterpumping 20mins a day and extending or hanging is good for length according to phallosan study pumping increased gains.

Pumping is good for both length and girth, it’s just that it places more emphasis on girth then length.

Techniques for increasing length include jelqing, manual and mechanical stretching/extending and hanging.

What works best is different for everyone and that is why different guys have their own favorite techniques for PE. For me, I love pumping.

You recommend me now 2” cylinder because my base girth is 5.25” and my preference is to gain girth. But let’s suppose, I want increase in length, in that case should I go for 1.75” cylinder . Right?

And please also suggest what is the safe pressure for pumping? My friend say he do it at 15 Hg. Some forums says, safe pressure is 5 Hg. What would you suggest? Thanks very much for your advises. It’s been really helpful.

Yes, that is exactly what the table says.

Starting pressure for newbies is 3”hg and even after getting conditioned, you can keep 5”hg as your upper limit and just keep increasing your continuous time in the tube up to 30 minutes.

Ok so max pressure should be 5 Hg. And we can pump it continuous for 30 minutes. Gprent, if I want both girth and length, can I use both 1.75” and 2 ” cylinder together? I mean one day I can use 1.75”(for length) and other day I can use 2” for girth. Is it possible and effective? Please suggest. Thanks you

You have to slowly work your way up to pumping for 30 minutes over the course of say a month and the same with pressure, most guys can’t pump directly to 5”hg without getting accustomed to 3 and then 4”hg. Even then, I recommend always starting your routine at 3”hg and slowly stepping your way up to the final target pressure.

The size recommendations were established as an economical way for guys to get into pumping by buying one cylinder that suits their needs and goals and will last for a long time before having to buy the next size up. But if you want to buy 2 cylinders go right ahead. Both will give you expansion in the girth and length direction.
