Hi guys,

I normaly use a 1.5” cylinder in my routine of 15 mins 5HG (w/heat) - 10 mins break massaging - 15min 5HG (w/heat) - 10 mins stretching/jelking - 15min 5HG (w/heat).
Doing that 3 days on / 1 day off

First, is that a good routine ?

Second I also have a 1.75” cylinder so I was wondering, as I pack the 1.5” tube in the first 15 mins pumping, would it be a good idea to switch to the 1.75” cylinder for last 15 mins pump session to get more expansion ?
I tried one time and I almost packed the 1.75” too at the end of the last 15 mins pumping so I guess it’s good for girth ?
If I want some lenght, should I stick with 1.5” only or it will have same effect on lenght with the 1.75” + more girth ?

If you would like to run more girth so it’s logic to take bigger cylinder. Just watch the process. If you full at girth area switch thicker cylinder.

At the other hand i didn’t heard any real results at length for pumping process.

If you are packing the 1.5” cylinder after 15 minutes, it is time to move up to the 1.75” cylinder on a perminant basis and put aside the 1.5” cylinder.

I believe pumping contributed very little to my length gains.

I am about exactly your starting size and I see you have very nice results now, care to tell me what you did/used for these results ?

I pumped for 20 minutes in the morning and again at night at 5 hg, five or six days a week. Plus I did one weekly 45 minute session a week.

Question about moving between a smaller and larger cylinder during a pumping session:

I have used 2” tube off and on for about 12 or so years now. I do air pumping only. I used to pump along with occasional PE for maintenance and just that over all “good feeling” of enlarging. Recently starting at the end of May, I’ve started pumping quite religiously, and it’s really making me get bigger. However, I’ve never remotely come close to packing the tube. I curve slightly to the left, so the left side of my glans and right side of my shaft touch the tube.

A few weeks ago I finally sprung for a 1.75” tube. OMG! Both sides of my cock push against pretty much the entire length of the tube, and the whole top side of the corona of my glans presses against the tube too. This “smashing” effect on the left and right sides of my cock seem to be forcing expansion of the top and bottom sides, with the tissue around my urethra really bulging out a good bit and getting quite fat from the pumping. When I come out of the 1.75” my cock has this “tube steak” kind of appearance/feeling that I’m really into! I’ve had zero blisters or edema from any of this (I have had maybe 5 donuts ever and never once had a blister in all my years of pumping off and on).

What I do is start with the 2” and do 5 minutes, then the 1.75” for 10min, then the 2” for 10, then the 1.75” for 10, and then either do the smaller one again for 5-10 or end in the larger tube. I like the way the tubes effect my swelling and size. I feel like I’m on to something here, but want to ask the forum and pros :)

Does anyone here do this too? Is it worth it? Should I stick to just one tube per session, and go from one size to the other, or mix tubes in a single session? Thanks for you input and ponderings!

I have never heard of anyone pumping quite like that, but if you like what it is doing for you, keep doing it!


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I’d like to post an update on progress since I started doing this switching back and forth between different sized cylinders during a pumping session.

It’s doing something very good for me for sure!!

One first fast thing noticed, and physically felt, is that my cock is thicker from top to bottom now. I only started pumping with a 1.75”inch cylinder on Sept. 2 and have had 21 sessions since I got that tube. I use that tube for probably ~75% of all session time I spend in the tube, and cycle in the 2”inch tube throughout my routine. However, I’ve NEVER stuck to the exact same routine ever: every time I pump I do different amounts of time in both tubes. I don’t know why I do this, I just like the variety and challenge of switching up time in the tube and which tube I spend time in.

I will say this for sure: using the smaller tube has begun to straighten my slightly left-turning curve! I know this because my wife, out of the blue last week, said “you’re getting straighter, I can feel the difference inside me. You’re hitting things in me differently now.” I take that as proof positive that it’s getting straighter midshaft, my midshaft is actually starting to get thicker, like the left side is “bulging” slightly. It’s not a bulge bulge, like a growth or anything like that. It’s just protruding a bit more and has filled out that space where the curve was before. I can tell when I grab my erection, the way I hang flaccid and how I stand when it’s hard.

I’m really digging the increased top to bottom thickness too. Both sides of my cock are fighting against the walls of the cylinder and the only place to swell is up and down. This has certainly made me thicker in those directions!

When I pump, I usually do like 3-6 minutes to start with the 2” tube. Then I’ll do like 4-8 minutes with the 1.75”. After that, it’s fair game. 10 minutes in the small tube, or 10 minutes in the big tube, etc. Y’all might say “you must have a solid, steady routine you can’t choose your own adventure every time you pump man!” But, I don’t really know what y’all do as far as routines go. I know with Bathmates some people do 2, 15-minute sets and that’s it. Or just 10 minute sets. I do sometimes spans of minutes that go like this: 4min, 8min, 12m, 10m, 14m to end which gives me 48 minutes in the tube. I’ve been adding heat when I’m in the small tube over the last 3 weeks and it has greatly improved my swelling, length, and recovery and prevention of injury (I’ve never once had a blister or bruising before, so the heat has helped me stay a pound or so higher than normal pressure that I’m used to over the years).

It’s quite exhilarating to be in the small tube for a spell and then get back in the 2”incher. To feel your cock expand laterally again after being crammed in the smaller tube, it’s really erotic and wonderful feeling!! Just wanted to share these new insights and sensations I’ve experienced in the last month or so. Happy pumping everyone!

I’ve been thinking about this type of strategy lately as well. My idea was not switching back and forth, but starting with a smaller tube then switching to the larger tube to finish. Maybe something like 10-15 in the slimmer tube and then 5-10 in the larger tube.

Surely some of the pump vets have tried this sort of routine.

What you describe is called “staging up” and is common practice.
