UK pumps

Are there any pumpers in the uk who have successfully ordered from america? Or any recommended sites with good pumps in the UK. I don’t really want to spend over £50 which seems to be about what I am going to have to pay if I buy from UK so I want to make sure its a good one. Any advice?

I fear we may end up being guinea pigs. I’m more or less in the same situation, I’m contemplating going gauge-less for the time being until I have the cash to drop on a much better model but I’m not entirely certain.

That looks like exactly what I need, slightly above my budget but I guess I shouldn’t be cheaping out where my junk is concerned.

Yeah I saw these on eBay as well it looks like what I need but the cylinder is 2” and I need 1.75” according to the chart on here. does anyone know if it really makes much difference?

7of9, do you know if another cylinder will fit if I buy one because I want to start with 1.75”. Are all of the attachements for cylinders the same?

I started by making my own tube from an apllicator tube which was 1.75” It did the job OK but then mved on to a 2” tube frpm Mustang. There were no problems (except that I outgrew the width) so it iis quite possible to use a 2” tube for your unit.

I have often recommended Mustang. although recently I asked a question about some damage to the pump but have had no reply.

If I buy a cylinder seperate should it fit to any pump? Im thinking of buying the mustang one but I need a 1.75” cylinder and this one is a 2.0” one. Does it have to be a mustang cylinder or should they all have the same connection?

You can buy a !.75. tube from Mustang.

Go to https://www.body-images.co.uk and check out the tubes they have .They start at 1.75 and they cost £29. odd

If you order from Mustang it might be worth asking if they can supply you with a 1.75" tube rather than the 2" They are all the same price so there shouldn’t be a problem.

Ah okay thanks, but do you know if I buy another cylinder that isnt a mustang one- will it still fit the mustang pump? £30 seems to be nearly as much as the whole thing!

Just bought mine from here for about £57 which I figured is as cheap as im guna find it. I still need to buy a 1.75” tube though which is going to be about another £30 odd but Im willing to invest in the hope it wont be wasted…if worst comes to worst and it doesnt help me gain at least Ill be able to sell the unused tube on here and the pump so it wont be as big a loss. If anyone knows a good place to buy 1.75” tubes for cheap I’d looove to know, Im presuming that any cylinder will fit the pump…
