Few question about pumps

I was very interested in starting pumping put never had the possibility to buy a pump. Here in Croatia you have sex shop but they all offer shitty pumps without a gauge. So it’s the same as if the didn’t have pumps at all, because I wanted to buy a decent one. Was thinking to buy it over the net, but then I had other problems. Lots of sites that sell pumps don’t ship them here, and if they ship them it’s a problem because I don’t own any credit cards (I’m 20 years old). Hmm so then, was thinking to ask a cousin for some help, he can buy it and I can give him the money in cash. But again it’s a bit embarrassing situation, so that’s one problem and the other is I don’t know how much reliable are the sites, I’m scared even if I order it. Maybe get a broken one or wait hell of a lot time to get it?
Read a lot of threads where guys from thunders made the own home made pumps and write only positive stuff about it. So for me, and because of my situation a home made pump is maybe the best solution. Was thinking to go in a sex shop and just buy the tube and specially go some where to buy a hand vacuum pump - with gauge. The only problem is I don’t know where to start? I mean, don’t know where to ask for a vacuum hand pump? And one more thing that’s bugging me is the cylinder size, if I go and buy a tube from the sex shop. I don’t expect that they even know that tubes have a lot of variation cylinder sizes. So if I buy a tube that isn’t my cylinder size, what are the negative things? My cylinder size is around 2" 2.25" some thing like that would be optimal. Well what do you guys think, need advice and will be very grateful for all the info I can get!

Regarding the pump - all you need to do is find a ‘Brake Bleeding Kit’ like this one: - it should contain a pump with a gauge.

To build your own tube see this thread: Homemade Tubes? - it seems you can also use a Gravel Vacuum that you can get from a pet/fish store and adapt that if you want.

That is probably your cheapest route - good luck! And I hope some of the more experienced pumpers will chime in with their thoughts too in a bit.

But I’m not sure is this actually the right thing, it’s a hand vacuum pump - but is there any thing other I need to see or know about it? If it’s for cars, isn’t it a bit hard core to use that for dick pumping? I know that the pressure on the gauge doesn’t go very high for dicks pumping. Here is the thing I might buy

Ahh and can any one answer me the question on the tubs, I’m sure that home made tubes are out. But to buy some low pumping set and the just use the tube? What if the tube is large in length and the cylinder is totally off my stats? Can it still be used to pump, and what are the negative things if I don’t have a tube that’s my size?

This is good advice, I’m sure you have a aquarium or Pet store there, right? There are cars and repair shops and parts stores for cars? This might help as far as your size needs. I made exactly the same, and cost me about $35.00, hope this helps!

Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Luka asked me to chime in here but he picked the wrong guy because my mechanical knowledge is just about nil.

My guess is that LA Distributors (https://www.cockpump.com ) ships pumps to many countries these days, and is worth trying. If you build your own, keep an eye always on comfort. A cheap and lousy tube is going to dig into your pubic area and the width may not be right for your girth. Pumping is supposed to be fun, not torture.

They are reasonably expensive at about £100. and I guess a 2" cylinder should suit you for your expected gains and current size..

You know I wonder, what would it take to manufacture our own?

I’m guessing you’d need a mould, and then the Lucite mix, and then an oven of some sort? One of my uncles manufacturers plastics (toys,tables,etc), but I don’t think I should ask him LOL

Edit: But I see that you’ve already recommended that thread to someone else earlier in this thread, so presumably you’re familiar with it. In that case, you know that it’s much easier to start out with a tube and then cap it and add a valve, or just use something that already has a cap and valve (like a an aquarium gravel cleaner), than it is to mold something from scratch.

I haven’t read every single post yet Lampwick, but gather that the thread is more about buying gravel tubes and adapting them (etc). In the post above I was thinking more about actual manufacture of cylinders - just like the ones you would buy from one of the pump shops :) (especially as in the UK we have such a limited range, the only two I know of are the Mustang and Thickwall systems). :)

Thanks for the re-plays guys! For now I don’t have the solution, or I’m not 100% sure yet. Ill think it over a bit and see if I get some more info on all of this.

I have built a pump and it works great. I will post pics and list parts if I have access to do that on here. I just don’t have a gauge. Can anyone tell me if you have found a place to get one that connects in the back?

Ok I got some more info and my solution is to make my own pump. I was think for some time how to get my pump and start some nice pumping. So in the end I think I will buy some crappy pump here in Croatia and modify it. The only thin I’m no sure about is the pressure made in the tube by the hand vacuum pump. So I’m thinking about buying a low rate pump and adding a gauge, because all of those pumps are without a gauge. I’m thinking that adding a gauge isn’t going to be a big problem, the only thing that makes my think is the vacuum pump. Avocet8 wrote in his fantastic "vacuum pumping 101" thread that the best comfort is around 3 - 6 inches of pressure. The thing that makes my wonder is can a low rate - crap pump make a pressure like that, will it be good enough for my pumping?
