Sorry, I haven’t been on this thread since your post. I said not sustainable because my measurements haven’t changed once the effects of pumping subside. However, water pumping along with the “mini pump” routine have definitely improved EQ.

You can’t control the pressure levels with a water pump, right? If so, wouldn’t this inconsistency be bad?

That’s why you make measurements on the tube, to see how elongated you are.

I see. So would your starting pump pressure be an estimation, and you would adjust it by how it feels and your results?

Alex, I believe the idea is to pump normally to your maximum pumped length. Then you make a mark on your tube.

Once you are ready to water pump, you simply pull vacuum with your mouth until your penis reaches a quarter inch short of the mark you made previously.

UPDATE: I have been water pumping for a few months now. I think that it has caused my sudden BPEL increase of between 0.5-0.7 inches. I can’t be sure as I was clamping simultaneously, but the clamping did not cause length growth previously and no other variable was changed, so the water pumping must have had some effect (either directly, or indirectly by stimulating the results of my clamping).

This did NOT happen with air pumping - I did the exact same thing before, combining clamping and air pumping. I have also never observed any length increases prior to beginning clamping (tried hanging for a while with no luck). This is the only significant length experience that I have ever experienced.

Not only is water pumping more theoretically agreeable and less messy (much more practical) than air pumping, but I now also have an isolated personal observation of its tremendous results.

Water pumping > Air pumping.

P.S. I would like to thank sparkyx and sta-kool, once again, for their encouragement to disregard the old method of air pumping, which has now become a thing of the past for me, and take up this excellent practice.

Yeah, I don’t do any active PE anymore except for the odd kegel - plus using a Bathmate every now and then. Like maybe twice or three times one week and zilch the next, once the week thereafter and so on. Max pressure for 10-20 minutes each time. My max length in the tube has increased by about as much as LV (occasionally, I’ve gotten 1.25 more, for some strange reason - having a really good erection going in, I guess). This is over a time of a year and a half, I think. Sure, some of that was retaking losses from lack of PE, but not all.

I mean, basically it’s just maintenance and anti-ED precautionary training. But still, I’ve increased. Less is more for me, maybe?

Well, I just switched from the Bathmate to a VelSeal pump and I LOVE AIR pumping WAY better than water pumping, for almost the same reasons as you like water pumping! LOL…

I hate the watery mess. With a little lubricant, I can just grab a towel and wipe it down quickly after I’m finished, whereas with water, I have to either be naked and in the bathtub, shower, or place a towel down…etc… with air and lub I can just sit at my computer and work, then take it off (no water spilling everywhere) and wipe down quicly and I’m done (cleaning both take about the same time, so no need to discuss that).

I don’t think I’ll ever go back to water pumping…I just sold my Bathmate on Ebay… Air pumping is so much more comfortable and convenient.

Anyway, I wear a stretching device (a home made phallosan like deal) for a few hours (today 3 hrs at around 7lbs of pull) then I pump (air) for about an hour, then I put on my stretcher again for 2 hours, then pumped for 1/2 hour, then I put my stretcher on and will leave it on for a few hours then a quick 15 min pump before bed….

By the way, I feel I got the BEST results from hanging 10 lbs.. but blisters were just too common and I wrapped well. I guess it was just to much of a hassel to hang with significant weight and wrap and un-wrap and re-wrap (just to take a leak)… Anyway, that’s why I stretch with my own stretcher now and pump…..

OK, I’m a bit confused now. I had assumed that the cylinders for wet and dry pumping were the same. Are they not? Have I misunderstood. I thought that if I didn’t like water pumping and wanted to swap to air, all I’d have to do is buy a pump at my local auto spares shop.

While I’m at it, I thought I’d buy a 2” cylinder. I have shaved my dick to about 1/2” from the base, but only trim my pubes to about 1/2” length. I also shave my balls except the sides which I leave at about 1/2” to stop them sticking to my legs, but that shouldn’t make any difference to this discussion. I assumed that, with a bit of lube, I’d get all the seal I needed and could walk around the house with it in action with little of no concerns about it leaking. Having said that, I don’t mind sitting in the bath to set it up. Have I misunderstood all this?

I should have also mentioned that my base EG of 5.6” is on the shaved area.
