Bathmate Users — how do you manage pressure? pg 7 post 97
I just put this valve in line of the hose and use my regular cyclinder. You will draw the vacuum by mouth, and its just the cylinder and hose and this valve, you won’t have a pump or gauge.
You draw the vacuum you want, then close off the valve. Works great! I find the best way to control vacuum levels are to use air and your pump and draw whatever vacuum level you normally use, then make a mark on the cylinder at the tip of your penis (bright red nail polish is best!).
Then use your hose with the valve attached (Home depot or Lowes) and close off the valve and fill it with hot water but not too hot…you’ll know when you try and put your dick it! :) Press your dick in and push the cylinder hard against your belly with one hand, with the other hand open the valve and suck on the end of the tube (the hose obviously has to be long enough to reach your mouth). You will have to open, draw and close it several time until you draw enough vacuum to pull your penis to the mark you made.
That is your starting point, with time you may want to draw it more or less, but start there. With time, each week try drawing your penis a bit past the previous mark, but always keep the level of vacuum "comfort" that you found works best.
When I pull MLUV or (max length under vacuum), its as hard as I can pull and no more water will come out. I find this gives me red spots and lots of edema. I am now using it at a LUV (length under vacuum) that is about an inch less than my MLUV, and about a quarter inch less than my bpel.
I think that taking it to bpel is not a bad place to start, but you may find you want to let it drop back a bit, or you may want to pull it slightly past.
One note, if you take it to bpel, its really like taking it 1/4 inch past it,because of the girth stretch, but its a reasonable place to start.
