Water pumping or regular?

Hi guys, Ive been wondering if I should dive into water pumping such as the bathmate or use a normal pump?

Any suggestions?

If you’re new to pumping, regular (air) pumping may be a less expensive introduction to the practice until you find out whether/how much you like it, and how productive it is for you.

I have an air pump and I love the thing, glad I went this direction instead of getting a waterpump. Also, after getting a air pump I’m know addicted to it wish I could wear it all day.

Water pump sounds like a joke to me, you cannot measure the pressure and it is easier to get injured as you might over do it.

You can water pump with a regular pump. Just let some water in the tube first, then enter penis, then pump to desired pressure. Dont let the gauge and handle get wet.

Special extra long tube might be good so you can put the gauge and handle to a safe distance away from the water. Water based lube is not good with this method, I use baby oil when water pumping in the bath tub.

I don’t have an air pump, but I do have a Bathmate. Actually, I’m just out of the tub and I’ve used it to the max for 20 minutes or more. No edema, puffiness or anything. The only time I was able to get a little bit of donut was when I did four consecutive intense sessions, 5-10 minutes each.

For the Bathmate, you get an indirect pressure check based on your measurement in the tube. If you use an air pump you can check pressure too, use an extra long tube so that you don’t pump water into the gauge and you’ll know. Or buy an expensive gauge. There are a couple of threads on the topic.

But the possibility of injury is lesser with water as a medium than with air, so don’t worry.

A joke?

If edema is buck and tunica expansion is bang, you get MUCH more bang for the buck water pumping. If you haven’t tried this superior version of pumping (which I only tried first yesterday and now have declared that I would never air pump again), I strongly suggest you try it.

I tried it once. I really did not see any difference.
I have a 9” tube and usually pump up to 7.5-8 ” so there is only an inch of space left for water.

It is a hassle trying to prevent the water from topping off and getting into my pump.
I cannot walk around the house with the tube on.

Explain to me what difference that one inch of water is going to make in vacuum?

If you pack the tube without water, I don’t think you’ll have much use of the water at the top. The bathmate is made to leave water all around.

Is a lapdist pump suppose to work with water?
