Do you consider the releasing of the vacuum pressure your break, so you keep the cylinder on the whole hour or are there points in your pumping where you actually take off your cylinder?
Peforeal: Lately, that’s exactly what I do. I release the pressure down to zero, kegel a bit, and then pump back up again. I’ve been concentrating on just straight pumping, so I don’t take off the cylinder until I’m going to use another sized cylinder or if I’m done pumping and just jelq a bit for circulation
Also, when you go down to near zero HG, how long do you stay at that pressure before you pump back to your normal pressure?
Peforeal: I drop to zero for about 15-30 seconds and then pump back up.
When you use this method, let’s say 20-30 minutes into your pumping, when you release the pressure do you notice a drastic drop in size or does the size you have pumped up to stay even when you drop the pressure down?
Peforeal: When I release the pressure, of course there will be a drop in size from the drop in pressure. But if I exit the tube, I can stimulate an erection nearly back to my pumped erect size, which is what I use as a positive indicator of pumping progress.
And finally, do you feel this technique has been beneficial to your gains? Why so?
Peforeal: This is a personal technique that works for my dick which is very conditioned after 6 years of these kinds of experiences. This technique still is working for me. In fact, I’ve really been focused and have gained an 1/8” in erect length after having plateaued for awhile (mostly from lack of real purposeful pumping). Why does it work for me? I can only say that I go by “feeling”, and if my dick looks bigger, has a healthy color and can get erect without difficulty, then I’m on the right track.
My current technique for pumping is to pump up to a certain hg and leave it at that hg(re-pumping back up when the pressure drops) for no more than 20 minutes at a time. It has worked for temporary gains however I’m still having a hard time getting permanent gains; I am a hard gainer.
Peforeal: I don’t know how much you’re pushing the hg levels and time in the tube, but always be careful not to go overboard. There’s a fine line with pumping in terms of too much being non-productive. You have to find the balance of time and pressure that works for you and maintains positive indicators. If you have negative indicators starting to occur, take several days off.
Sorry for the intense questioning, but as a hard gainer(both length and girth) I tend to analyze good gainers routines/techniques very closely. I feel it’s those little tweaks in a routine that can make the biggest differences.
Peforeal: Good luck!
