The packing measure today was a bit of an aberration as the sides had more packing but right in the middle where I take the measure there was a dip in the section that was packed. I think we’re still making progress but we’ll see.

Another function checked off, I thought the food sucked. Place is know for their Chicken pot pie, I don’t know why. Even though we’re over 180 on the scale I’m pretty happy with the weight. We will hit the training hard today and on Tuesday before the next function, so I think I’m getting through the Holiday events without too much damage. Calculations suggest 7.6 lbs of fat need to come off. It’ll probably be more of a challenge to put on the muscle, but thinking that won’t be too hard either. Though that may be a false sense based on previous history. More days being knocked off my work schedule so we will definitely have more time for workouts.

Came home from work yesterday and made a cup of decaf and had a couple pieces of homemade coffee cake and checked the blood glucose. Had a pretty good spike but then an hour and a half later was down to 111 so I think we’re clearing it pretty good, but I think I should be careful with things that will spike it. I won’t eliminate things that I enjoy, but I’ll use the scale to modulate the portion size.

I moved intimacy up to the number 2 spot in my priorities but I’m starting to wonder if I’ll need to move it to number 1 for anything to happen. Too easy to push it out as that has become the pattern that I need to break. This is so wild. Should have plenty of opportunity today.

You can reduce the impact of sugar or cab ingestion by doing some quick muscular effort before eating. Something like 20 air squats.

Exercise moves a particular type of glucose transport channel (GLUT-4, if I remember correctly) to the surface of muscle cells that sucks up glucose without requiring insulin to transport it.

This is why it is so efficient to have carbs within 30 minutes of exercise, especially weight training, since the muscles suck up the glucose so efficiently. It’s also why Type II diabetics respond so well to exercise for glucose control—no insulin required.

So sometimes if I’m going to have a carb-heavy treat or snack, I just stand up behind my chair and do 20-30 air squats, sit back down and have that treat.

Just something to consider if you are thinking about hacking your carb intake.

Wanted to go longer on the elliptical but did not have the stamina. Definitely working on rehabbing the shoulder which is still fucked but serviceable. Long way to go but feeling tighter.

A whole lot more packing, getting real close to fully packing the shaft, so definite progress. Plan is to fully pack the shaft and then keep going until the length in this tube plateaus and then incorporate the use of the 2" tapered tube. Not sure exactly how, maybe staging or maybe just jumping to the 2" tapered tube.

EQ was good and making reasonable progress on the intimacy front, just need to be consistent so that it is more of a habit. A more frequent part of the lifestyle. The size is proving to be pushing the limits in certain positions, doggy was too much. And even getting pushed back in missionary which made me start laughing.. Maybe greater frequency will help. We are definitely pushing limits here. That said I’m kind of doubtful that outsized gains in expansion remain and at that point the focus will shift to EQ. We will see.

It is interesting to me that despite facing size related challenges I have no interest in backing off on the pumping campaign. I’m intent on exploring the extent of available expansion. What does that say?

Started incorporating 30 second deadhangs, shoulder feels pretty good today. Ordered 3 and 4lb dumbells to continue with the rehab work.

Weight jumped not happy about that. Too many events and it’s not over. Have one tonight and a couple tomorrow. I will workout today for sure but not sure about tomorrow because tonight’s event is going late. But then it’s pretty much over. One function mid January and then another in February. Work schedule is very heavy BUT we’ll have plenty of days off to get rolling. Have the whole week off second week in January and all I plan to do is workout and fuck.
