Will have a block of time off around Thanksgiving and Christmas and have a 6 day block off in January. Haven’t waked out the logistics for February yet but that is coming.

We will start the strength training today, but it will be choppy with the upcoming holiday, a very vigorous work schedule and the remaining clean up from the outdoor activities. Haven’t sorted out the lifting yet but I’ll favor the strength training while incorporating some light aerobics probably on the mornings of the work days. On my days off I plan to do doubles.

Transitioned away from desert that I was using to get enough calories. I’m having to eat quite a bit more food now and have not sorted that out exactly. I have added The Perfect Bar protein bar to the meal plan to help increase the protein intake, though I’d rather get it from food at least I’m tolerating it. I don’t like counting calories, I just develop a meal plan and follow it and if it is too much I remove an item and if I’m losing too fast I add.

Just blocked off a full week off in January. So this strategy is working out real well.

About the same. This is day 5 at 4 notches of pressure. Thursday and Friday will be travel days and then we get back to it on Saturday. I’ll stay at this pressure for another 5 days and then bump it up a notch. I think this is working out ok in terms of managing the conditioning of the tissues. Time will tell.

Weight: 181 @ 19% bodyfat Weight has bumped up higher than I wanted as I eliminated the desert from my diet and I’m adjusting the meal plan. Also been working more days and it’s been cold so less activity overall. For instance I did nothing yesterday. We will be more active today. And will get to it in earnest after the holiday. I really like the recommendation that AndyJ made, that when pressed for time, just get a movement in. Doing something - anything is mentally constructive.

Feeling exhausted and disinterested, intimacy happened anyway and I have to say that EQ was through the roof and persisted even after. I am of the opinion that the low pressure vacuum with even just 2 five minute sessions has utility. That said based on my limited experience I still maintain that progression in expansion requires pressures closer to 4 in/hg+.

I’ll take off for the next few days so decided to bump up the pressure one notch. Expansion was about the same though. Post session discoloration did not increase so thinking there is some conditioning occurring.

Weight is stable still working on the meal plan. Worked a heavy 4 out of 5 day and felt blown out last night - no physical activity no interest in intimacy. I need to work less at least I have 3 days off here.

Not seeing the post session discoloration we were seeing in the previous cycle, but only doing 2 x 5 minute sessions this time. There was for sure more expansion with 3 X 5 minute sessions but there was also profoundly more discoloration post session and avoiding that takes priority..

Better than yesterday. Will increase the pressure soon. I did order tapered cylinders from the UK based on use of @benji22. So we’ll see if those are more durable and will let me pursue the pumping with less sequelae. Ordered both the 1.75" and 2" and their pump as I wanted to make sure I had everything that would work with that system and to not incur multiple shipping charges. Not cheap but at that point I will exhausted the known possibilities.

Yesterday activity level:5 mile hike over challenging terrain. Tomorrow we’ll get back to the strength training and will increase the focus on that. I need to see if I can get the muscle and strength back and make some more progress on rehabbing the shoulder.
