Elist Removal and my journey begins
Hello Everybody,
I’m sure this is nothing new to the veterans of the forum - I am another Elist implant failure.
I decided to get the implant about 4 months ago, and like a dummy, without doing too much online research (very out of character for me) jumped into the procedure. I remember sitting in the pre op thinking to myself “do I really need to do this?”, but I was already there and decided to go ahead with it anyway. Granted, wish I could turn back the clock.
My experience with the Dr himself has been a good one. He has been very responsive and courteous throughout the whole process. As a businessman myself, I can’t blame him for misleading me to some extent to sell his product. That said, I would not recommend this procedure to anyone.
Fast forward 3 month, the pain under the glands didn’t go away as advertised and I kept getting a nasty wrinkle/protrusion from the implant, so I started doing some digging. Having read a handful of thread about the failed implant, I decided to swiftly get it out.
Now I am 2 days post removal, and honestly, not in the best mental space - having spent $20,000 and nearly 4 months of time that I could have spent doing the proper exercises. But it is what it is. Learning from my mistakes as always.
My previous EL was 5.75 and EG was around 4.75, which I was OK with, but like all of us on here - wanted more.
I’m expecting to lose a lot of length as does everyone who has shared my faith and it makes my head spin a little.
In my preparation for recovery I have been reading up on the forum about other members experience, but it is honestly a little hard to retain all the information. I start spacing out and stressing as I read all of it.
I am fortunate to have a lot of privacy in my life, both at home and at work, so I will be spending countless hours on stretching and other exercises to regain what I will surely lose.
So far I have purchased: ZEN ADS, Zen 10 pound hanger system, a couple of silicone sleeves and I had a bath mate x30 pump from back in the day that I dug up. I’m also planning to buy an electric pump.
I would appreciate it if one of you with similar experience to mine would share your post removal routine and success story.
Honestly, at this time, I would be ecstatic to get my original size back, and I will live with the scar and the gained experience.
Thank you all in advance for chipping in and I plan to be of help to the community in the future as I travel this journey.
