Elist Removal and my journey begins

Hello Everybody,

I’m sure this is nothing new to the veterans of the forum - I am another Elist implant failure.
I decided to get the implant about 4 months ago, and like a dummy, without doing too much online research (very out of character for me) jumped into the procedure. I remember sitting in the pre op thinking to myself “do I really need to do this?”, but I was already there and decided to go ahead with it anyway. Granted, wish I could turn back the clock.
My experience with the Dr himself has been a good one. He has been very responsive and courteous throughout the whole process. As a businessman myself, I can’t blame him for misleading me to some extent to sell his product. That said, I would not recommend this procedure to anyone.
Fast forward 3 month, the pain under the glands didn’t go away as advertised and I kept getting a nasty wrinkle/protrusion from the implant, so I started doing some digging. Having read a handful of thread about the failed implant, I decided to swiftly get it out.
Now I am 2 days post removal, and honestly, not in the best mental space - having spent $20,000 and nearly 4 months of time that I could have spent doing the proper exercises. But it is what it is. Learning from my mistakes as always.
My previous EL was 5.75 and EG was around 4.75, which I was OK with, but like all of us on here - wanted more.
I’m expecting to lose a lot of length as does everyone who has shared my faith and it makes my head spin a little.
In my preparation for recovery I have been reading up on the forum about other members experience, but it is honestly a little hard to retain all the information. I start spacing out and stressing as I read all of it.

I am fortunate to have a lot of privacy in my life, both at home and at work, so I will be spending countless hours on stretching and other exercises to regain what I will surely lose.
So far I have purchased: ZEN ADS, Zen 10 pound hanger system, a couple of silicone sleeves and I had a bath mate x30 pump from back in the day that I dug up. I’m also planning to buy an electric pump.
I would appreciate it if one of you with similar experience to mine would share your post removal routine and success story.

Honestly, at this time, I would be ecstatic to get my original size back, and I will live with the scar and the gained experience.
Thank you all in advance for chipping in and I plan to be of help to the community in the future as I travel this journey.

Hi forgains,

I don’t know what route you should take to restore or gain more, as we all vastly differ but I do have one piece of important advice for you.

Do not wear the Zen Hangar under ANY circumstances!

It is a noose style hangar which will compound your glans issues and carries extreme levels of risk once you start adding weight. Do not use it!

You will probably experience some seriously bad headspace, especially if you experience losses in erect size. They may not be a given but they are likely in your implant failure case. This will make you do more PE than you should, panic and all of the usual issues that come from doing PE while *stressed or depressed in some way. Doing it with a Zen Hangar would be catastrophic.

I wish you the best in your journey. May Temperance and Patience guide your actions.

Now: 9" BPEL x 6.25" MSEG as of 11/10/2019 This is my story, a few progress pics of me here, and all my methods.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

Listen to this, you could literally lose your penis your glans could fall off.

I cannot express strongly enough how important it is to ask Dr. Elist about what type of exercise would be OK for you. I heard he guided another unfortunate patient in penis pumping. The patient regained almost all his lost length through pumping.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I’ll toss the Zen noose.
Which hanger and/or ADS would you recommend for a beginner? Since I already have the weights and the leg strap, I will only need a good clamp. Please advice.

Elist did mention manual exercises and pumping, which he will instruct me more on tomorrow when he removes the drain and I will follow those instructions. I would also like to try and use other exercises like ADS, as I have been reading some good results for other members have come from it. I plan to remain patient and listen to my body. The last thing I want now is to hurt myself more, that’s why I’m on here asking for help.

Thank you all very much for your input.

What are your thoughts on the Zen lace up hanger? Is that one safer because it not a noose?

Honestly I cannot say as I’m unfamiliar with that exact product. But, I know noose style hangars are just dangerous. That needed to be said.

If you’re looking for the device route, slow down with spendinig money and see what people are using. It will take you time to research but you may as well read about all of this. I’ve never even heard of the Zen lace up device you speak of and there are a lot of devices made by a lot of manufacturers that are well built and trustworthy.

Just read, see who is using what and their thoughts. Find some commonalities. Though, avoid the Bathmate. It is more hype than function. And dangerous when applied incorrectly.

Sorry that I don’t have a more simple answer for you.

Just don’t do anything to your penis before consulting with the doctor. He knows what the operation means and what exercises are safe. Again very unfortunate you had this outcome. I feel for both you and the doctor. I truly believe his implant is great for the right candidate and some guys have posted on this forum how happy they are with their increased size. Also it’s good that it is removable and not permanent.

I’m definitely going to consult the doc before doing anything and be patient in my approach. I do however feel that at this point in my journey I’m more on my own, as his job is done (technically). I will use his advice and knowledge for recovery, but then it is ultimately up to me.

Do you have any experience with pumps? Is there a specific pump and/or routine you would recommend for a beginner?

If you’re looking for quality pump and cylinder I would go to Pumptoys.com and call Dave, he can set you up with everything you need and top-notch equipment made for comfort.

He is the only one who answers the line there. It’s worth a serious look.

What is the percentage of success compared to failure?

Considering the risk:reward here, where risk is damage to the Penis, I would say that at least two conditions should apply: 1. The chance of failure must be close to null. Is it currently at 40%? 20%? 10? 5%? 2. The increase in length must be permanent and substantial.

Personally, I would not play Russian Roulette for any reward. The risk is simply not worth it.

Do not do PE for now, your surgery is very recent. Wait until you’re sure it’s safe.

Why the noose is dangerous and the extensors are not?

There is danger with noose extenders as well. But, multiplied with a hangar.

4200 grams with very strong springs is 9.25 pounds. Most systems are still under 3000 grams. My own extender only had 2100 grams max tension.

Or you could hang 15lbs or more. Which exceeds any safe amount of pressure on the base of glans and dorsal nerve for most men. Additionally hangars can move from side to side and away. Extenders are stationary.
