I’ve started a new hanging routine. I’m using the same process as "Hanging with FIRe" thread: Hanging with FIRe

The main difference is instead of using the FIR heating pad, I’m using hot water from my shower head. One of the major benefits with "vac hangers" is the water friendly parts. Mine is made of all plastic and silicone so the water will not damage the hanger. Some can argue that the heat can stretch the silicone but so far I have had no problems with it falling off or becoming loose.

I want to limit my time to 1 hour each session with water running only 30 min max. 15 mins for hanging 15 mins for washing. I use fishing weights wrapped in tape. SD angle only (hands free).

My routine looks like this:
Week One
- Wrap Glands and apply hanger
- 15 mins @ 4 lbs ambient air
- 5 mins rest with warm rice sock
- 20 mins @ 5 lbs in hot shower
- 10 mins rest and wash
- 15 mins @ 5.5 cool down water off
- Remove hanger and tape. Light massage for blood circulation
- Very light wrap to prevent turtle during the day.
- Remove wrap before bed time.

Starting measurements: Goal = 20.32 cm (8.0") BPEL
BPSF: 19.5 cm (7.6")
BPEL: 17.80 cm (7.0")
BPFL: 15 cm (5.9")
EG: 13.5 cm (5.3")
Glands: 14 cm (5.5")

Heat is always better than no heat, but hot water is not the same and does not have the same effect on deep tissue as a FIR heat source.

What does “10 mins rest and wash” mean? Did you remove the weights during this period?


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

This is what I’m doing to get used to a routine that won’t take too much time out of my daily life. I take a hot shower everyday anyway, why not hang while I’m in there? I’m a stealth hanger, no questions are asked when I take a 30 min shower but questions are asked when I lock the bedroom door for an hour and I can’t answer because I’m in the middle of a hanging session.

Safe temperature for hot water from an average shower head is 120 F some water heaters can be adjusted to go beyond that. Try this, pour Hot water from the shower into a cup and stick a thermometer in it, if it is above 110 F and it does not cause any pain than it can be used to heat the ligs if applied directly. That is what I’m trying.

Perhaps I need to research the difference between the heat source. I just figured 110 F is 110 F no matter how it gets created.

What I meant by “10 mins rest and wash” is that I take the weight off but keep the hanger on and wash my body like a normal shower. I do not remove the hanger during the entire session, only the weights. I find I don’t lose any blood flow or feeling and it is very comfortable.

I think it is a good idea that you research the difference in the heat sources and in particular how the FIR heat impacts the tunica albuginea and the importance of this in the theory Heating with FIRe is derived from. It would also help you to understand how the target hanging weight(s) are calculated, how and when they are increased, when heat is applied and the importance of cooldown and how to approach it.

To be clear, your current process superficially mimics the Hanging with FIRe process, but it is not the same technique and is unlikely to generate the same results.

This is why I posted it in my “progress report forum” and not the “hanging forum”. This is the place to test and try different techniques. Only time will tell what the results will be.

Just bought a FIR heating pad last week. I’ve been doing the Hanging with FIRe routine found at Hanging with FIRe using a FIR heating pad for about 1 week now.

I have received a nasty water blister from hanging too much with a Vac Hanger in the past. I was able to hang up to 6lbs before the blister forced me to stop and take a 1 month break. I’m not sure what to do because my penis is conditioned for 6lbs, I don’t want to hang too low and waste time and effort. So far my routine looks like the following:

Cycle 1
- 15 min 1lbs cold (pad is on and warming up for 15mins)
- 30 min 2 lbs warm with FIR pad on (Pad is on at highest setting 45C - 48C)
- 15 min 3 lbs cooldown (pad removed)

I will update after 1 cycle hopefully with some gains to report.

Hey man, I hope you’re doing well today. I too have been running low on time and privacy. Life gets crazy sometimes. I want to have you know that I’ve been doing only 1-2 minute stretching and 3-5 very slow wet jelqs under a very hot shower head for just 2 weeks and my girth is exploding. It takes 10 minutes! I haven’t done an official measurement, but I can’t even fit my head into a paper towel roll and I used to easily fit my whole dick in one. Now? Not even close. Length looks better too but man, I can tell you this works and I will for sure be following this thread as I may be your copycat if it goes well. I think you’ll have success! Let’s be honest, if the water is as hot as you can possibly bare without any pain, your dick is warm. Lol. I bet the FIRe approach works very well too, but this must be a great alternative! Please stay consistent with this! I am a follower of you!

Girth gains are great but length gains need to be made first. If the ligs and tunica become too strong, it will make it more difficult to make length gains. I am having difficulty gaining length because I did not change up my jelqing routine when I started gaining girth and got too excited. Now I am trying to weaken my tunica and ligs with heat. Manual stretching no longer works for me because my tunica and ligs are too strong. The “hanging in hot shower method” was what I was attempting until I could purchase a FIR heating pad. Now that I have one, I no longer hang in the shower. So far I cannot tell the difference but it has only been 1/12 weeks with the FIR heating pad. I only measure once a month to not get discouraged by the ruler.

It doesn’t make much sense that gaining girth would strengthen your ligs and tunica. Deconditioning breaks are a huge part of PE for a reason. If you continue to try gain length without breaks, trust me, it will get tough - just as gaining girth would. Take some time off after gaining length or girth. The ligs and tunica will soften up. I was just trying to say that the shower method is working for girth for me and it has also worked for length in this past year.

Good News! I measured this morning and my BPEL was 18cm. It may be temporary but it’s encouraging to see some sort of gains.

The silicone sleeve just broke for my vac hanger. Looks like I will be taking a break until the new one arrives :(
