Nearly 8.5" & Side Effects

Thanks MrEasyPeasy! I try to add my two cents, so to speak. But this has definitely helped me be more consistent. I see you have made some great progress as well! Good Job!

Unofficial 8.5 inches
I was waiting to post an update until I felt I had secured 8.25” length, but that is in the past now. I don’t consider measurements official until after 2-3 days past a pumping session, so I was waiting. I first saw 8.25” on the ruler a week ago, but wanted to be sure. When I checked again yesterday, the measurement was 8.5! However, this only lasted for a few seconds and I could not sustain that erection level, so it is unofficial.

As for girth, I can’t seem to grow past 5.75. I am considering changing things to be more girth based like clamping, jelqing and/or pumping every other day. NOTE: I haven’t been 100% consistent with my pumping, especially in the last weeks, so this probably is effecting gains.

Side Effects
These are some side effects I have noticed with my routine and supplements:
1. Pubic hair growing on shaft. I don’t think my skin is keeping up with my length gains, so it is pulling skin down from above (I assume).
2. Straightening. I originally got into PE because of a curve to the right, but it was resolved quickly. I also have a slight curve downward. This is getting straightened and I think it is due to the direction I pull with the ADS, which is straight up.
3. Night sweats. L-Citrulline has a delayed effect because it is converted to L-Arginine, then nitric oxide. So I find that when taken later in the day, I get night sweats. I have cut out L-Arginine for now, because it causes diarrhea (could be the brand), and take L-Citrulline only in the morning.
4. Lack of free time. This is not really a side effect, but I feel like it needs to be included. I need to get better with time management. last week was mismanaged and my sleep schedule was not consistent. This effected my EQ quite a bit. Also, I am still struggling to work out as often as I did before I started this new routine.
5. Compulsion to visit Thunder’s. Just kidding, I like to check in and see the latest developments.

Still waiting for the new pump cylinder. Thanks for reading!

Month 2: Got Sick & New Pump

Well, I just finished up my second month. These last two weeks were the worst yet. I got really sick and was eating terrible food. My sleep schedule was terrible as well.

For all these reasons, my EQ were bad and I wasn’t even able to hit 8.5” again, but close. The only good news is that my new pump came in.

New Cylinder
So, I just got a new cylinder (2” internal diameter). This is my first pump with a gauge. And one thing I noticed right away was that 5 inhg was hardly anything. I was doing near max pressure with the HydroXtreme and it was closer to 15inhg (based on feeling). So I am taking it easy, as I think I was going a little too hard before hand.

I can pack the tube but not all the way with 5 inhg. I also hit bp 9” in the tube at higher pressures.

Short Term Goals
1) Get healthy and get my EQ back
2) Pack the tube all the way up with 5 inhg
3) Hit 8.75” maybe 2 months

Zinc, 50mg daily. Vitamin C, 1000mg daily. If you’re not taking them already, both help testosterone production and the immune system - I haven’t had a cold or flu in several years and both are essential in your metabolic processes.

^^^Good advice. I stopped taking all my supplements for a while because I had some teeth pulled. I’m finally recovered and getting back on the regimen. I just feel weak and tired.

Just be careful with other ones unless they’re essential vitamins and minerals and run them by your doctor before you take them. I almost was going to take ginseng and dhea and then found out they can negate the effectiveness of my bipolar anticonvulsant. I really don’t want to go crazy again, once was enough, and I don’t want to have a seizure. I read a ton of medical research articles and look up anything I put in my own body, but some folks don’t know to do that.

Out of curiosity, I noticed at the beginning of the thread you’re trying to keep your insulin level. Are you diabetic?

No, I am not. But I have had seizures from reactive hypoglycemia before. Recently, I was eating terribly (high GI foods) and I had another seizure, but that in addition to lack of sleep. So now I am switching over to a low Glycemic Index (GI) diet. I am trying to be much more careful now.

Good luck to you on that - I am diabetic and have to watch how I eat carefully. Not much fun to limit eating, but there are plenty of other things that are worse.

Yes there are! And good luck to you on your efforts!

Week 10: Phase 2 - All about EQ

I have learned a lot about myself and the way my body responds. I have changed many aspects of my experiment: my diet plan completely, my PE routine, and some considerable lifestyle changes. I’m over both my sickness and injuries. Finally have my EQ back (low for 2 weeks), and I don’t want to lose it.

PHASE 2

Short Term Goals
1. Get healthy and get my EQ back ✔
2. Pack the 2” tube all the way up with 5 inHg
3. 8.75 BPEL

PE Routine
Heat included when accessible.
1. ADS for 4-8 hours, 5 on/2 off
2. 2” cylinder @ 5 inHg × 30 min, then bathmate × 30 min, 3 on/4 off
3. Manuel stretches + jelqing (light), whenever I feel like it

Diet
Low Glycemic Load (LGL) Diet. The intermittent fasting was too difficult for me to manage my schedule and be able to consume the proper amount of calories. The LGL diet is not quite Keto nor Atkins, but close. The GL is a measure of how a carbohydrate affects blood sugar levels, taking both the type (Glycemic Index) and quantity (grams per serving) into account. The GL of a food serving has three classifications:
-Low: 10 or less
-Medium: 11–19
-High: 20 or more
I try to keep my daily total GL under 80. I have been on this for a week and I already feel better. I don’t crash after eating, I don’t feel as tired, and I sleep much better. All these have contributed to my EQ.

Supplements
1. B Vitamins
2. Hyaluronic Acid
3. Zinc + Vitamin C
4. L-Citrulline
5. Collagen
6. Vitamin D (need to figure out dose)
7. 5-HTP (when needed)
And some other junk, but not important.

Lifestyle
I have made it through one of the busiest times of my life. It all came at me at once. I was stressed, going through medical issues, family, work, etc. For all those reasons, I couldn’t work out. I am slowly adding work outs to my week, and will eventually get back on the original plan. I am also taking sleep quality much more seriously,

I will hopefully reach all my goals of Phase 2 within two months. If I do not see the progress I want after 1 month, I will adjust. Thanks for reading.

I take 5000 units of Vitamin D a day, but my levels were low last year. I upped my sunlight exposure during spring and summer and don’t know what my levels are now, but it’s pretty hard to overdose on vitamin D. Some people with osteoporosis get 50k units a week. If you don’t know your levels, I might go with 2000 units to be on the safe side.

Month 3: Phase 2 Observations & Veiny

So, I deviated from the routine, and this has slowed progress significantly. I didn’t wear the ADS for one week as I thought that it was affecting my girth gains. This was a bad idea. My length gains stalled and went back down to 8.25” during that week, and I haven’t seen 8.5” on the ruler since. Obviously my length is still dependent on the consistency of my routine. I am thinking about changing my girth routine to be more evenly distributed throughout the week. Anyways, here are updates in all the areas:

Routine
Same as last update, but only able to complete about 50-60%. For this reason, I have seen no additional gains. However, vascularity is NOT lacking, see supplements.

Diet
Still on the LGL diet. In the past month, I have only had three meals that have broken the GL limit. Feel much better, and have noticed that meal timing affects sleep quality. I need to eat my last meal three hours before I go to bed, which I have not been doing. I had a bad habit of eating 30 min. to and hour before bed. For me, sleep quality directly correlates to EQ.

Supplements
Taking all that I listed previously. And thank you, User77777, for the dose of Vitamin D. The L-Citrulline is doing its job and increased my vascularity. After I pump, I have large veins that spread out like a spiderweb symmetrically on each side of my shaft, reducing in size as they head toward the glans. They are still present without pumping; but, with the combination of pumping and L-Citrulline, the veins are very prominent. It’s kind of cool. Lastly, I am thinking about taking alpha lipoic acid, but not sure completely.

Lifestyle
I started working out again, and will let you know when I am back up to my 1RM’s, could be a while. Sleep quality is still a priority.

I’ll update measurements soon. Thanks for reading.

Hello again. Glad you’re feeling better. What dose of L-cit do you take? I’ve always read it needs to be around four grams to be effective…

I forgot to ask - do you take pills or powder? I can’t find any capsules that are much above 850 mg for a reasonable price and really don’t want to take any more pills than I already am.

I resumed exercise today as it warmed up enough to get back to it - I haven’t done any since last August. The good news is that I’m not THAT much weaker than then, but I’m pretty sure I can’t one arm standing press half my body weight right now. That’ll take a couple months to get back to that point.

So, I am not the ‘normal person’ in this sense. I take a very low dose, being 375 mg & 750 mg on pump days. It is in a pill, but it also comes with BioPerine and other pepper extracts (3 & 6 mg total) that supposedly increase absorption via thermogenesis. Powder seems more economical, but I use pills for convenience.

When I started, I was taking both L-Arginine (1,000 mg/day) and L-Citrulline (1250 mg/day). And I was on fire, my room temperature was around 50 °F and I was never cold, if anything I was comfortable. Sure my veins were busting out, but I was sweating too much and always running hot. So, I lowered the dose and am still seeing results, but I already was a vascular person so to speak. If I took 4,000 mg of L-Cit/L-Arg my penis would look scary veiny - which may be someone’s goal; I am just trying to increase blood flow.

I recommend starting at a lower dose and seeing how your body responds. After two weeks you should see results. If no results, try upping the dose. Good luck!
