My Progress

Routine today was:

30 slow dry jelqs

I always warm up and warm down I just don’t put it in my log because it’s something that I always do. Eq is good enough to where I can have sex today if I wanted to. With stretching eq was rarely good enough for sex on the same day as a session. Also there is less turtling than usual.

7-20-16: BP: 7.63 NBP 6.75 x 5.75

3-22-17: BP: 8.44 NBP 7.56 x 5.75

It’s always great when EQ tells you you’re on the right path.

I’m happy for you!

I’m glad I figured something out because having inconsistent PIs can really mess with your head. Not a good feeling when your dick is always too tired for sex.

Routine today:

10x30 sec stretches
30 dry jelqs
4 horse squeezes

I said before that stretches lowered eq which they do a little but they weren’t the problem. The problem was I had slowly over time lowered my cardio time in the gym after weights to the point where I wasn’t getting as much bloodflow as I was. I forgot the importance of it to erection quality. It is my second week doing cardio consistently 30mins atleast 5 days a week and I already see an improvement in my eq. So I decided to add back in horse squeeze.

I thought about that time where I had just started my new job and was walking all over the place and how that effected my eq positively and that got me to thinking about how important cardio is for bloodflow to the penis. I admit I slacked a lot on it thinking lifting weights was enough but obviously it’s not.

FYI fellow gym rats cardio has actually increased my strength in the past two weeks as well faster than usual. I guess since it force your body to produce new blood vessels and your heart is stronger to supply the working muscles with more blood. Not to mention cardio increases your natural nitric oxide production which is super important for weight training. I gained the same amount of strength that usually takes me two months to gain within two weeks thanks to the nitric oxide boosting benefits of cardio.

Also I will add that I only do moderate cardio at around 105-110 bpm which isn’t hardcore by any means. Intense cardio is shown to decrease nitric oxide production due to too much oxidative stress. I can hold a full conversation during my time on the recumbent bike which is what I like to use.

New routine:

5x30 second stretches
30 dry jelqs

I don’t know how but seemed like 10 stretches were too much so I cut back to 5. EQ is looking even better and more consistent than before. I also cut back the amount of weight training day that I have. I think I was slightly overtrainibg because many nights I would wake up after 3 to 4 hours of sleep and would find it difficult to fall back asleep. Now I have a day off between weight training days.

But even though my pe routine seems really light I can feel it’s effective because of the slight soreness I get after the routine. I think I was too focused on increasing stretches. Just 5 stretches seems to be enough.

Just wondering Rahman if you’ve taken any recent measurements? Your routine previously was relatively light in my opinion and you’ve cut your number of stretches in half. I’m just curious where you stand size wise at the moment. Thanks.

I was actually hovering nbp around 7.43 most days less from fatigue. Yesterday I measured 7.5nbp the day after a session which tells me I’m doing something right. Usually the day after a session I measure less than that even down to 7.31 and would take 2 to 3 days off to go back to normal. I’ve only lightened the stretches my dry jelqs take from 4 to 6 secs per stroke which I’m starting to think carries more responsibility for my gains than the stretches. But I kept the 5 stretches because I didn’t want to completely abandon stretching all together.

That’s very interesting, that you now believe your length gains are primarily due to the dry jelqing. It’ll be interesting to see how things go since you’ve decreased your stretching reps. Thanks again.

Did my routine yesterday.

An important note that I will leave here for future reference. I’ve noticed that since I reduced my frequency of weight training from 5 days a week to 3 days a week that my eq has increased. I think I may have been overtraining. My libido has increases as well. That plus the cardio has increased my sex drive.

Seems like you have a good combination of PE and PT!

Happy to hear that. Is it best to measure right after a session though? Also I’m curious what you do to warm down.

I never measure after a session. I wait until the day after or 2 days after the last session. Yes I warm up and warm down but I never post it here. I use a cup of warm water.

I have come to the conclusion that my inconsistent libido and occasional ED is coming from overtraining in the gym. I also have had insomnia for some months now and I’ve noticed that most days after I work legs I can’t get restful sleep. It also happens on other lifting days. I think I’ve been overtraining for a while now and I think taking a week or two off from lifting (not cardio) will help get me out of the overtraining zone. I’ve taken a week break from pe a couple times and it didn’t seem to help which tells me that lifting is the only variable that I haven’t taken a break from.

I saw it clearly the other day when my eq was good then I went to the gym and it was just shot for the rest of the day as well as the next day. Hopefully a break from lifting is all I need.

It’s already feeling better. I bought some orange juice, along with eating arugula, and dark chocolate. I was already eating arugula and dark chocolate but the orange juice added an extra boost that I didn’t get before. Maybe it will help me recover quicker. Once my eq is rock solid like it was before overtraining I will go back to working out. I don’t feel the need to take a break from pe.

I will document my recovery progress here so that in the future If it happens again I can see exactly what I did and how long it took to work. I actually havent taken a week off probably in about 3 years of lifting. I took about 4 to 5 days off one or two times only because of injuries but never an actual break to restore hormone levels and such.

As I have read, you really have come a long ways and you are figuring out your body and what works for you. This is a personal form of education about yourself and the area you are trying to enlarge, but the phyc has got to stop because that will mess with your head and that is not important to any workout but to focus on exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Too much exercising in one sitting can be just that and halt to gains. PE can be a simple run around the park in stead of something messing with your head. Relax, it will all work, but do not over do it or you may plateau. When working out, you must believe your workout is working, focus on that. Focus on what is working for you, if it isn’t move on to something different or change up your routine. So what do I mean about that, you may be starting out too hard and fatiguing your ligs quickly. Ease into it just like stretching when going for a run, you know stretching the legs. After exercising do you do squeezes or wrapping? I know a lot about this, trust me.
