Hi, all.
Within the last year I tried PE (I think it was the newbie routine) for a solid month and saw no gains, so I quit. Then my interest was renewed. So I started doing a program of
5-10 minutes heat (in the shower)
5-10 minutes of stretching
1 hour of jelqing (using Vaseline)
5-10 minutes of heat (in the shower)

This was sometime in December 2020. Just last night (March 26, 2021) I measured and I found that I had no gains. I may have even lost a little. My flacid length seemed to be improving, and my erections, when full, seemed rock hard. I thought I might need to supplement with some stretching, so I just ordered an ADS from Total Man. I’ve been reading up and found that too strenuous of PE can lead to losses, so that may be the case here. I was hoping some of y’all might be willing to pass down some advice. My original measurements were BPEL 7.25”. If I kegeled or stretched while measuring I felt like I could reach 7.5”. Last night when I measured I was more bordering on 7”.

You noted that your flaccid length is improving, so you are having positive results just not as quickly as you expected or desired.

Too strenuous activity can lead to turtling (shortening), which is a negative physiological indicator (PI) and a strong signal that your penis is over stressed/exhausted and needs a break. Turtling is a short term situation which will resolve itself omce your penis has had a chance to rest.

Perhaps you need to take several days or a week off, then startback with a reduced PE activity while paying close attention to the feed back your penis is giving you. Then slowly increse actvity level at a pace your penis can manage without over stressing.


Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Jelqs are really agressive, after a year I still haven’t mastered this.

I’d increase heat with rice sock or infra red lamp.

Try a Vaccum cap ADS and maybe some hanging.

Thanks for the responses, y’all. I got an ADS from Total Man the other day. I used it for the first time today. I’m going to use their PE regimen and see how it goes. I also used the ADS to do some hanging. The Total Man regimen suggests starting with 2 lbs of hanging weight. That was way too much. 2 lbs may seem like nothing when you hold it in your hand but when hanging from your dick it’s a totally different story.

Syd - I started with 12oz. Don’t add weight too fast. I have just now gone over 3 lbs after 90 days.

Yeah, I’m starting with 1 lb.

I’d suggest stepping up your recovery game. That’s what I feel is giving me most of my results. Got a glans ring from Gearessentials and wear it every day to keep elongated.

If you overdo it (or any exercise in the beginning, really) then turtling is going to happen. I feel as thought turtle prevention should be the number one focus when working on PE.

So you’re talking about passive recovery time? Wouldn’t a cock ring have better results? What did the glans ring do for you? I would think the impacted area of your penis would be too small to make much a difference if you are using a glans ring.

It’s to keep constant weight (light) after you’ve done your workout. This way you heal in an elongated state.

Oh, I see. It’s a weight. I’d probably have to switch to looser pants and boxers to have that work haha. Would wearing a cock ring have a similar effect by keeping blood in the penis all day?

I believe the majority of people that gain with PE, go 3+ months with no gains.
I also was in that category but I didn’t abandon my routine, I stuck with it and gains followed.

I would suggest you go back to your normal routine but maybe lengthen the time you are stretching and reducing some jelq time (keeping the same total routine time).

If that isn’t right for you then I suggest secondly that you stop hanging now. If two pounds is that stressful… then you haven’t conditioned your penis with stretching.
I would highly highly suggest that you use the vacuum cap and the extender that came with your total man package and work up to 1-2 hours and then work up the spring tension (slowly).
Stay away from the clamp system at this time. You may or may not ever use the clamp, start with the vacuum cap.
