I’m a 32 year old software project manager and lifetime Marine. I’ve always known I was small but didn’t let it get in my way. Now I’m married with two kids. My wife is gorgeous. Should also note that I am also quitting porn 😩😩. We will see how that goes but it has been interesting so far. Hi bmur29, welcome to the forum man.

Same happens with me. Used to rock on porn before start PEing. Nowdays, I let the porn take-over only once a week (lighter than before), “unloading” only happens once a week too. This way, there’s no ugly woman in my sight and the urge to “wreck” is always present.

Hey bmur29, I get what you mean. No porn equals ridiculous sex drive. I’ve caught myself being extremely unprofessional and wanting to bone several of my patients. I look at the girls at the store checkout and find them all incredibly hot. Most importantly, I look at my girlfriend and see a literal godess. From what I hear, you have the same luck. It’s great motivation to know you’re doing it for her too.

Secondly: ex-marines get fat. It’s the high caloric diet with rigorous exercise that you guys have, and then suddenly the exercise is gone, and you are sitting at a desk doing software geeky stuff. It might be useful for you to know that weight gained in that way is relatively easy to shave off. It’s the same for professional athletes who stop. They either get fat or they start another intense sport after two weeks of sitting on their arse.

I realise that what I wrote might come off as harsh, but it wasn’t meant in a bad way. I think I forgot a sentence like “this is not an insult, just a logical result from your earlier lifestyle”. Sorry!

Anyways, I did some more research (Google for the win!) and it’s quite easy to lose weight again for you. Just use that Marines can do anything spirit ;)

I figured that it would be good to chart my weekly routine. Here is this weeks

5 min warm up
2 min manual stretch (30 sec sets)
40 jelqs
10 min edging
5 min warm down
2 on 1 off

Will measure for first time 1 Feb

Upping my routine to:

5 min warm up
2 min 30 sec manual stretch (30 sec sets)
50 jelqs
10 min edging
5 min warm down
2 on 1 off

Good idea. Resting day tomorrow (you could do stretches on a resting day), and then you could try to do 50 again, and 60 the next day. That lets you build it up. It goes deceptively fast.

Thanks TGC. That’s my new plan. I’ll up by 10 jelqs and 30 seconds of stretching after every off day. Btw, I fell off the porn bandwagon the other day :-( wife hasn’t been feeling frisky recently and I couldn’t take it. Back on the wagon for me.
