Help me with injury

Help me with injury

Forgive me but I am new here, this is my first post and have a significant problem. Please let me bend the posting rules a little bit. I can’t post in the injury section yet and need help now. I have experimented with pumping mostly by using a glass vase with a neck just the right size to fit on the base of my shaft snugly. Then insert a thin tube between the glass and my shaft to suck the air out, and remove the hose. I used the brake bleeder pump at first but discovered that my mouth could pull quite the vacuum. Did this occasionally for 2 years, mostly in the bath, for up to 20 minutes or so then masturbated my slightly swollen member. In 2 years I saw minute length gain and definitely more girth. About a month ago I discovered the silicone sleeve. Played with the sleeve + glass vase and found that I could pump and hang and the vase wouldn’t slip off, even hung with water in the vase. Last week I was hanging in the vase, fully hard, straight down and used my hips to swing the vase fore and aft and also side to side while standing. (IDIOT!) I remember at one point wanting to remove it but the suction was high and it was hard to get air into the vase in order to release. I did get my dick out but there was lots of pulling, and at some point some urine tried to come out but was caught and under pressure. Not sure how long after but within a day or 2 I saw that my shaft was small and hard (hard flaccid?) The vein on top of my shaft is soft. I do get morning wood and can get very hard with manual and visual stimulation as well as ejaculate (weak coming out). It won’t stay hard on its own though. I have a strange feeling to each side of the shaft at the base by the pubic bone, sort of a dull ache. In the past I could use the muscle that stops urine flow to raise my erect penis up and could also control some movement to the left or right. The left / right is not happening any more now. Did I pull or tear a ligament? I wish I knew 3 weeks ago what I know now. I thought I was unbreakable. Dr. Said there is small amount of blood in urine, gave me the name of a urologist and ordered a cat scan. She also noted what looks like a hernia up and left from the pubic bone. Also note that I have been under extreme stress for a few months and I had a hernia repaired 12 years ago with the mesh. Am I screwed?

I’m not a doctor. You are not screwed, there is always hope. You put your penis through alot of trauma, take your doctors advice , and in the mean time let it rest, erection quality can fade for anybody on this forum when there penis has been over traumatized or over worked. Try and not get to stressed about the situation, because that can also effect your erection quality, yes take what you did seriously, just try not an over stress. Hope this helps. For me lymph vessels will sometimes ache before they clog, they are on the sides of my penis . I thought it was ligs but it wasn’t not until i got a real bad case of clogged lymph vessels and string of pearls even going across behind top of my head and down one side, then did I understand it wasn’t ligament being sore. Thought it was ligaments being sore for years. Wrong. I stopped PE for a month and let it heal and it did, just like it never happened.

If you had torn a ligament you would have excruciating pain at the touch and your penis would hang unevenly; you probably had a swollen area too.

Blood in the urine is common, you had to tell to your Doctor what you have been doing to your penis., otherwise she could think you have an infection. I think you just have a traumatized penis, everything should heal perfectly in a matter of weeks at most.

Hernia was not caused by PE, but my personal opinion is that if you have inguinal/scrotal hernia you should avoid pumping.

So you are not screwed but call you lucky.

Thanks for the response, all 3 of you. I will be seeing the urologist that did my vasectomy soon. I think the pulling did tear my mesh, the pulling that day was much much more than I had ever experienced before. I was always careful about not too much vacuum but that sleeve really allowed more suction than I had anticipated. I Also had a very very bad leg cramp that went from my thigh through the left side of my groin at night in that same time frame. I thought that a torn ligament would hurt but wasn’t sure. Would a stretched ligament (or 2) produce a dull ache at the base of the penis in the area between the penis and the pubic bone? Also if there are stretched ligaments will they come back? Thanks again

I have (have always had) a pulse on my deep dorsal vein and the superficial vein on the top side has always been very pronounced and would get hard when I clinched the base of my flaccid penis and pumped it up with kegels. Now the superficial vein is limp. I can’t clinch the base of my penis and “pump” it up like I used to. At full erection it is close to normal looking when I clinch the base. Erections die fast without stimulation. Also, when a good erection was brewing in the past I had the normal swelling feeling that usually comes from the inner part of the penis that is deep down towards my anus and spreads right through my shaft. Now the swelling feeling stops in the soft area between my scrotum and my anus and it feels like there is pressure there. Anyone have any ideas or other tests that I could do?

Things that helped me

A while back I injured my penis with a traction device that pulled down on my penis. For a long time I had erection problems and did not let it heal. After much research on the internet the following things helped me greatly. 1. Rest- I know its hard but no sex or masturbation for one month than after that once a week until healed. 2. Compression- wear two pairs of tight underwear to support and lift penis and suspensory ligament. 3. Ice- once a day on area above the penis and not on direct skin. 4. Anti inflammatory medication- Aspirin or ibuprofen taken orally and Voltaren or comfrey cream rubbed on the area of pain. 5. Bio-oil or vit E oil- Rub this into skin of penis and above penis daily. 6. Vitamins- Lots of Vitamin C and omega 3 and a multivitamin/mineral tablet. 7. Good diet with lots of seafood and eat papaya/papaw and pineapple daily as the contain the enzymes papain and bromelain which help healing. 8. Elevation- as much as possible rest area and have area healing above heart. All these things helped me greatly and should help you with your healing. Take care.

I have been resting, bought some supportive underwear. Getting closer to normal now, having morning wood is great and it seems that I now have a longer flaccid length than before. Veins are fuller and I can pump blood with kegels again. Going to take it slow and methodically from now on.

Good to hear that what I recommended may have helped. If you haven’t tried it yet the bio oil and comfrey cream (may have side effects, research at own risk) help a lot too. From my injury I realized that most penis injuries must be soft tissue like muscle tears and inflamed/ damaged tendons. Once I started treating my injury similar to tendinitis/tendinosis I saw improvements. Researching tendinitis and soft tissue injury on the internet helped with treatment. Soft tissue injuries need to be treated according to PRICE - Protection, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.

I take it from your slow and methodical comment you may plan to restart PE. I would not recommend it sorry. These injuries take up to 6 months of rest to heal properly. I myself would prefer a smaller penis that works rather than a larger penis that does not.
