Injury from PE exercise

It’s not inane confidence I think. Positivity is what I was referring to here. That’s what helped so MUCH in my case.

When a soccer player injuries his leg he doesn’t continually try to kick a ball to see if he can. He rests and gets treatment and therapy until it is at a stage where resuming activities will encourage healing. You are not at that stage, I believe.

Excellent advice :)

Saturday came and it was one of the worst days of my life, believe when I tell you I was really desperate. No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get an erection, not even a semi!!. So I decided to take a whole week off without touching my dick for anything but taking a piss. I admit that I still masturbated a couple of times around Tuesday and Friday just to evaluate the situation and I had been slowly improving.

Today I tried and guess what I was able to achieve an erection seated, laying down and even standing up. I admit that I am not 100 percent recovered as they don’t last as long and the strength is like 80 % tops compared to what I had. But this shows recovery is possible and I must be on my way to a full recovery.

I went to the urologist yesterday and he told me to take some cialis just to see how my penis reacted. I have decided for now I will stay away from masturbation and sexual activity for another couple of weeks, and maybe just try some cialis to see what happens.

What I mean to say is that recovery should be possible, but try to relax a bit and let your dick rest. Have you tried having an erection with cialis, viagra or anything similar? If you did how was your erection?

The idea of using something like viagra or cialis to aid an erection wouldn’t really appeal to me :-/

I would like myself to be gaining the erection, not so much the pills doing it for me (if there is an alternative in sight that is…)

Well, I had my urologist visit today and I feel great after hearing my second opinion.

The urologist as my second opinion was incredible, she was very receptive to my questions (yes I brought my write-up to her :) ), she was extremely informative (even drew pictures for me and diagrammed out all of the mechanics of how I work).

Upon consultation and examination she determined that I had torn the connective tissue on the left sift that holds together the three cylinders that make up my groin. She claimed that since the damage was nerve related that the entire healing process of the injury is extremely long: 6-18 months. This is because nerve related injuries take VERY long to heal, she expressed that nerves grow roughly 1mm per year, that’s the size of a tip of a pen!

She said that I have a very good chance to make nearly a full recovery (98-99%) in 6 to 18 months time based on how my body heals; according to her the healing process is very different from individual to individual. She also stated that taking ED related medication can assist the recovery process by cycling the blood in my groin, increasing the oxygen exchange to assist tissue regeneration; she gave me a sample of Levitra (I plan on waiting to use it until I am with my partner later in this week).

Here’s the thing that really shocked and relieved the hell out of me:
She stated that for my specific injury, sexual activity doesn’t even impair, slow down, or halt the recovery process at all so long as it’s tame in nature. She actually discussed how sexual activity can help to promote my recovery since it encourages blood flow and an exchange of oxygen.

It brought quite a smile to my face when she had told me:
“Well, it can assist your recovery but I’m not exactly prescribing or writing down on a note that you need to be having alot of sex, but you understand where I’m coming from”

It was the sort of smile that put me in probably the best mood I have ever been in; this experience has been truly eye-opening.

Glad to hear that, did you ask her for an opinion regarding PE exercises?

Was (july 07): 5.25 nbp (5.9 bp)X 4.5

July 10 :6.15 nbp (6.65 bp)X 4.8

Goal: 6.75 nbp (7.1 bp) x 5.1 Final goal : 7.25 nbp x 5.3

She stated without me asking her to completely avoid it.

I never have any intention of ever trying PE again regardless though.

I’m very happy to hear this amp :)

Would you mind explaining to me how the injury initially occurred? Was it while you were stretching and you felt a sharp pain? Or did the dysfunction gradually become apparent?

I have started manually stretching which I was previously not doing and realise the more I know about the cause of such injuries the better I will be prepared to avoid them.

Fingers crossed for you

I have very similar problems to you and also got very similar advice from an andrologist, although he didn’t offer a clear explanation as to what the problem might be, but I ave long suspected it is damaged connective tissue. I have now had this problem for over a year and sex/ masterbation, in my case, made the situation worse, so be careful.

The only positive results came from complete rest and letting my body heal at it’s own pace

Do you have any deformity?

Hope you heal soon

All the best

I’m really glad to hear that your latest visit to your urologist made you feel better but I kinda feel sad at the same time that this injury convinced you to stop doing PE altogether. Injuries are, in most cases, inevitable in PE and at least you now know what to avoid the next time. Well, it’s your choice and I support you. Goodluck dude!

It became gradually apparent.

I advice you not to use any oral stimulus like Cialis, Viagra etc. While not commonly known, they actually cause venous leakage and hence erectile dysfunction. I know personally a guy who got very poor erections only from such use. He used it only as an enhancement, even though he didn’t need it. He had to do surgery because of this. His first surgery was poorly performed and made him 100% unable to have erection. He had one more surgery who gave about 80% condition, and recently had a third one to improve further. Still in recovery from that surgery.

what is the name of surgery called gorgeous8?

Commonly called venous ligation or venous stripping. Which may be ligation and also resection of parts of the veins. It requires cavernosography x-ray. Many do not perform this surgery, and probably many who does shouldn’t.
