Gentlemen,
I’m back - a year later.
This passed year has been a wild ride. I have more clarity around this that I’d like to share with all of you. My 28th birthday was last week and figured I’d make an update post for everyone that is / was suffering. This post is for you if you think your problem is bacterial, if you have hard flaccid, if you’ve injured yourself with a Bathmate (where mine started), and ultimately what to do about your “situation” down south.
Alright, so I haven’t written something this long in a while, so apologies in advance for any typos.
To recap: this started in May 2019 when I used a Bathmate for the first time. Then I was led to believe I had a Chlmaydia infection that was hanging around and that was the reason for the problems. Then my issue was around “ok, if it’s psychological, then I need to relax and just live my life.”
Essentially all of this is, and was, wrong.
Look, here’s my issue:
The truth is, I did injure myself with the Bathmate and there is definitely some scar tissue there. The insane amount of pressure I put on myself continually after injuring myself the first night (and then using it again 6 or 7 more times) is what did it. I more than likely would’ve been fine had I just let it be after the first use.
Some of the symptoms I now have from injuring myself with the Bathmate are entirely flaccid based. My bloodflow is slightly reduced when erect, but that is not to say that I’ve had times where I am extremely hard and large, like I was before. It’s just all a bit different now. I have a hydrocele (that has been checked with an ultrasound and there’s no cancer) and I believe that was from the Bathmate as well. When I get morning wood, my penis is straight however it goes left at the base, when I used to hang right / go right at the base (if anyone has any idea what happened there please let me know - just something to note).
I get the hourglass when flaccid a fair amount of the time, but there have been times when it’s fine. I don’t have an issue getting erect, just somewhat of an issue sometimes getting to 100% erect.
I get horny / did get horny, I was just confused. I’m 28, so obviously I am not as horny as I was when I was in college. Supplements can make you feel hornier so try them if you want to feel a bit more “aggressive” …
Sometimes I get very bad hard flaccid, but it’s always related to what I ate or if I masturbate with a partial erection. My gut has become more sensitive (I do wonder if this is from the SSRI or Wellbutrin I took, or the stint of intermittent fasting because I never had this problem prior) and if I masturbate I really have to watch that I don’t involuntarily kegel.
I got tested again and everything came back negative, again. It is not bacterial if your tests are coming back negative. It is not bacterial if your tests are coming back negative. It is not bacterial if your tests are coming back negative…. I cannot stress that enough.
My steps to getting better / what helped / should help me are as follows:
- I’m going to try and get my hydrocele drained, just to see if it goes away permanently. It does make things annoying down there.
- I’m thinking of getting a botox shot in my shaft for the scar tissue / hourglass stuff and doing light massaging after that. There is a specialist near where I live that has offered this in the past but I declined.
- Light massaging and helicopters are awesome (I use castor oil for
PE and coconut oil to masturbate). When masturbating, go slow.
- drink water and try fasting. Again, I’ve noticed that my gut health/what I eat really has an impact on everything down there.
- the testosterone thing was marijuana related because I wasn’t getting truly deep and restorative sleep. When I limited my smoking (and later switched to edibles) on strictly weekends (mostly Saturday night because I’d really feel that weed hangover / groggyness and would need a day to recover before work) everything changed. My testosterone is back now and I am in better shape mentally and physically.
- I did injure myself a bit with the Bathmate. Again, my penis wants to go left at the base instead of right like it used to, there’s a hydrocele there because that’s the body’s reaction to the BM overuse (not an infection like I thought), and I get an hourglass a lot. Most of my symptoms were directly related to those two/three weeks when I just continued to push it…. do not push it. The first time I pulled my penis out of that thing it was purple. I should’ve just not touched it for a month. If you do something off, LET IT REST AND DO NOT TRY AND FIX IT WITH MORE
PE. That said, I have not stuck to a strict restorative program with massaging and everything like that. If I did, the hourglass would probably go away but the hydrocele and left bend at the base would certainly remain.
And that’s about it. I ruined this thread by telling people I have no libido, can’t get hard, pain when urinating…. that was all nonsense and in my head. The truth is, I could (and still can) get very hard, have great sex, and ejaculate strongly. Everything worked fine, it was just different. That’s not to say I lost size either, I just mostly freaked out over my flaccid state. I overdid it with the Bathmate a bit and need to just understand that and relax.
At the end of the day, my body responded to an injury. I put a vacuumed water pump over my penis and went full pressure out of the gate. That’s what happened. And then I did it again and again thinking it would make things better the days that followed (and masturbated on top of it!). But all in all, I never really had a problem to begin with. I just psyched myself out because honestly, I did go way too hard with the Bathmate. That’s something I want you guys to take away here: if you’re going to use a Bathmate, get the Xtreme with the hand pump, or just stay away. I cannot stress this enough. I definitely did some minor damage with that thing and I regret ever buying it. Just stay away from one if you can. I never had issues with hanging, air pumping, extending, or anything like that prior to using the BM.
Cheers all.
