In most cases, you’ll find 180 mg EPA and 120 mg DHA per capsule. A good rule of thumb (especially based on the results of the clinical trials) is to consume 3-6 g combined EPA and DHA per day; at this capsule size, you’d need 10-20 capsules per day. For this reason, liquid fish oil is a great alternative. “
Obviously that is a lot of capsules, and the idea of consuming fish oil in liquid form doesn’t appeal to me.
Those who supplement with fish oil, how many capsules to you take per day?
