DHT Cream for ridiculous growth!?!?

Does it shows any enlargment due to the cream, London?

No but I think theoretically it could work. I may have got about 1/8th of an inch in girth as a result but thats probably more due to the pumping Iv been doing. If you use this stuff you have to take Nolvadex or something similar to avoid “man boobs” and Rogain to prevent baldness. I have stopped using it because I think my hairline may have receded, it could just be my haircut though. What I’m interested in is finding a chemical to upregulate androgen receptors. The first article talks about T3 and interleukin and some other stuff. Unfortunately I don’t have time to look into all that stuff properly.

So you “think theoretically it could work”; what’s the theory?

Some sources state that DHT(Andractim),being unable to convert to estrogen is used to reduce/prevent gyno, so what could be the need to use nolvadex ?

“The amount of receptor rose in childhood to approximately 180 fmol/g in the late teenage years and fell thereafter to approximately 20-40 fmol/g in men older than 40 yr.”

So there are some receptors left. Maybe overloading them with DHT would produce growth like in puberty. Maybe the limiting factor in adult men is not a lack of DHT but a lack of androgen receptors or maybe the receptors are downregulated and could potentially be upregulated. I havent read the full article. Help me out here.

I’m undecided as to whether I’m going to use the other three tubes I bought. There are a lot of people saying that Andractim does nothing and I think the few people that say it works may be trying to sell it.

I think you are on to something, now. :)

Messing with andractim is one of those things that most likely will not help, and almost definitely will hurt. London001 obviously does not know jack about endocrinology, nor even the drug he is pushing.

Say goodbye to your hair if you use andractim, and don’t think rogaine will save it. Rogaine helps with regrowth but does absolutely nothing to treat the underlying cause, which will be exacerbated by andractim.

I am also on another PE forum, and we have a shill there called Steve who peddles the same garbage. Stay well away, this drug will not help. Possibly if you applied it during puberty when your penis is still growing, but not now.

Man boobs?? Are you sure..

DHT cream is used to fight man’s boobs how come it gives man boobs?

I guess you are contradicting yourself; DHT does not convert to estrogen so gyno is not possibility only hair loss and acne may come to some users as side effect.

Hair loss and acne could occur if you used over 8 weeks without a break but if you cycle 4 weeks on/off it will be just fine

Is there a chemical that could be used to upregulate ARs and allow this stuff to work?

I don’t have man boobs, but after using this I got itchy nipples. Even though it doesnt convert to estrogen I think it can push androgen levels up to a point where you produce estrogen to counteract. I think the effect is different if you rub it on your nipples, I’m not sure.

Well, it sound like you need to do some more reading on DHT, estrogen and testosterone.

Plain and simple it is not worth the risk. You’ll be using a very strong drug, on the off chance that there might be benefit even though there is no evidence to suggest that there will be any benefit at all.

The only people who might benefit from this are those with a micropenis due to a dht insufficiency during puberty. Also even for those with such a condition, it has never worked for anyone over 24.

Stick to what works and is not going to hurt you.

Oh, I read that about the receptors, london100.

What you’re setting forth are a lot of suppositions and ‘maybes’, without any particular reasoning or a coherent theory behind them.

“Help me out here”? This is your theory, not mine, london100. I don’t think it’s going to work.

And did you actually read your second citation?

Quote
There is considerable evidence to suggest that progression of prostate cancers to castration-resistant is due to inappropriate activation of the androgen receptor (AR) and hence, the AR is a good target for the treatment of this disease. In this study we used two approaches to investigate AR activation and inhibition.

And you’re wondering “Is there a chemical that could be used to upregulate ARs and allow this stuff to work?”

Uh… maybe inappropriate activation of the androgen receptor has some degree of danger associated with it? I’m just saying…

If you don’t have time to look into all that stuff properly, you can’t make an informed decision about what you are doing to your body. I don’t think that is a good idea, personally.

Like others have said this is a bad idea. First and foremost you must understand that topical creams provide systematic delivery and are not localized to the tissues underneath. It’ll never pass through all the layers of hte skin to penetrate the tissues below. Instead it is absorb by the dermal vascualture system and thus circulated throughout your body. So as others have said, say hello to hair loss and prostrate enlargement.

I’ve been using Andro-Gel for a little over a year, but I’m not into correct grammer and all that crap.Takes too long to say what needs to be said.
