Well, that was a little more tedious than I had imagined, but I made my 500 ALCAR+25 L-Ornithine
capsules. I ended up with 36 instead of 40. Hopefully it’s the ratio of ALCAR to L-Ornithine that
is more important than the actual amounts. Not bad for a first tried I’d say. I drank my green
tea earlier, and finished eating dinner at 7pm, so 10pm I will take one capsule (I will empty it into
water and recycle the capsule for a future batch.

Hoping for better sleep and lot’s of wood….

Thanks sparkyx

I had a pretty good workout I had to hold myself back because I don’t want to be all that sore because I haven’t been to the gym in about two months.

I’ve been thinking of trying this out soon, along with some other supplements, and to start working out and getting back into PE more actively etc., but do you guys think 22 is too young? Maybe get a head start on it or something.

Also, anyone know if Calea Zacatechichi would interfere with it? It’s a herb you drink as tea before bed and it’s supposed to give you mental clarity and help you recall dreams better, I never tried it though so can’t say anything else about it. The formula says that you can’t take any amino acids or supplements during the 3 hour fast but I don’t think it’s either. Any info would be appreciated.

I think some people are confused about when to take the tea. From what I understand, you need to take the tea 4-6 hours after the largest meal yet 1 hour before taking the formula. So, for example, meal at 7pm, tea time at 12am, and formula/bed at 1am. It also says the fast only need be 3 hours, so I guess you could have a nice light snack (like a coffee crisp, j/k!) before 10pm. Hope I got that right.

One more thing, you guys trying this out, how much sleep do you get? I assume you feel well rested throughout the day right? How much sleep did you normally get before taking this, and how well rested compared to now? That’s all for now, thanks for the nice links, gonna have to compare prices with the supplement stores in the area.

I’m 34.

I’ve been taking this 500mg ALCAR / 25mg L-Orn mix (made my own capsules) for a week now. One
capsule each night when I go to sleep, having allowed 3 hours to pass since my last meal.

I am amazed, truly amazed, that this actually works:
1) Very, very vivid dreams, that seem to be long and easy to remember
2) Very, very hard and long-lasting “wood” from about 4AM until about 6AM. If I stay in bed, it stays
nice and hard, if I get up and walk around, it will stay hard for maybe 10 minutes, then as I let
my mind get preoccupied with whatever morning routine thing….down it goes

I have a cup of green tea late afternoon, as lunch is usually my biggest meal.

It’s great to be using something rather simple that works so well. I have been sleeping rather
soundly too.

I’m quitting all the herbals and other amino acids I’ve been taking, just going to take the blend
we’re discussing here plus my morning vitamin and a couple prescription meds (for cholesterol
issues).

BigFLR,

Great! You are smart to continue with your nutrients.

GH is like have a larger construction crew to repair your house.

If you give them crappy materials to repair your house…you make crappy repairs…quicker!

If you have a large crew, plus provide them with excellent materials…you get quicker repairs with first class materials=good strong house.

So this should always go along with first class nutrition for the best possible benefits.

Plus, I believe because of the SEVERE soil depletion, EVERYONE would benefit from adding a amino acid chelated multimineral (for the major minerals).

Then take coral calcium (for trace and rare earth minerals).

It is cheap insurance for your health. Here is where to get Okinawan Coral Calcium cheap!

http://www.nutr abio.com/Produc … ral_calcium.htm

Here is a brief article from that same page on the subject.

Compelling Reasons Why You Need Coral Minerals:

* Some doctors say that 157 diseases are caused by mineral deficiency.
* Minerals make up the basic foundation of health.
* Our soils have become depleted of minerals, thus, our foods and our bodies have become mineral deficient.
* Coral naturally contains every mineral found in the body and unlike most mineral supplements, coral minerals get in and really work.

Minerals are the basic foundation for health. From our bones to the multitude of enzymatic activities within and without our cells, minerals are the key that opens the door to optimum health. This is accomplished by supplying the body with missing minerals that have crucial roles to play and by bringing overall mineral levels up, thereby raising the pH of body fluids and tissues back to their natural healthy levels. A high pH (alkaline) is important because most disease thrives in a low pH (acidic).

Most people in our society are mineral deficient because the soils have become depleted through unsustainable farming practices. When the minerals are supplied in an organic absorbable form, health can improve. Coral contains every mineral needed by the body and is known for it’s synergistic relationship with the body. Did you know that orthopedic surgeons use pieces of coral for bone grafts because the bone and tendons readily accept the coral.

Every mineral needs other minerals to support it in order to do its job effectively. And each supporting mineral needs other minerals to support them. Hence minerals work best in a complex, such as coral, where every mineral is present in a natural balance.

The mineral wheel diagram shows how some of the minerals are related and need each other. Imagine the complexity of the diagram if all 74 of the coral minerals were shown.

Coral minerals are organic in the sense that they have been previously digested by an animal. It is very difficult for the human body to digest inorganic minerals (similar to eating little rocks). Having been previously digested by the coral polyp, coral minerals are readily absorbable by the human body.

Coral minerals possess the natural ability to go ionic upon contact with moisture. When coral powder is placed in water over half of the minerals go into the ionic state. Ionic means the smallest atomic size. Ionic is the size required by the body for digestion. Ionic is much smaller than colloidal.

Coral is naturally synergistic with the human body. This is evidenced by the medical practice of using pieces of coral in bone graphs. Orthopedic surgeons use coral in bone graphs because the body readily accepts the coral and the various muscles and tendons grow into the coral structure as if it were actual human bone.

Thanks for the info on Coral Calcium. How much of that do you take each day?

1/4 teaspoon is 1000mg. That is fine for a maintenance dose.

To start, I would recommend one teaspoon a day for a month just to make sure you catch up on any deficiencies you may have.

Then you can taper down to 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon a day…see how you feel.

Rarely do I find someone who doesn’t see some improvement in their overall health and feeling of wellbeing when they add coral calcium to their diet.

I don’t even like the name coral calcium, because it infers that you are taking it for the calcium.

I would rather it be called Coral Broad-spectrum Minerals. I think this would more accurately convey the reason for using it.

Twin labs or beyond a century?

Im ordering the Acetyl L Carnitine Hcl and Ornithine HCL from Beyond a century, but also need the 500 milligrams of polyphenols or bioflavonoids. Should I order from Twin Labs or does Beyond a Century sell the equivalent?

Giantscale, how are things turning out?
