Thanks for replying. I ordered ALCAR yesterday and plan to try it out for at least several months.

I know the focus in this thread has mostly been on “rejuvenation.” But did you notice that it helps PE? That gains come more easily? One hypothesis would be that the jelq-stressed tissue wants to heal, and perhaps in the presence of GH, it will add more cells.

Its very much like weight training and supplements. The is no supplements other than anabolic steroids that can make up for a improper workout.

There is nothing as effective as dialing in your PE routine to get good results, and I don’t think there is anything that can make up for either under or over training your unit.

That said, I have found that I am getting much better nite wood with this formulation, that DESPITE the fact that I am really beating my unit up more than usual.

Usually when I beat my unit up even a LITTLE too much, I lose nite wood. I am doing things now that should completely eliminate nite wood…and I am still getting good nite wood.

So I guess I am saying that yes…it is helping my PE.

Anything that accelerates healing and recovery should allow for a wider margin of error in overtraining in PE. The wider your margin of error, the greater the chance of gains.

Alright, another update.

Before I started taking this stuff again, I was getting almost no nite wood. If I quit all pe, I would start getting it back again after a few days. This is WITH taking GABA or NOX2 at nite. Even L-glutamine didn’t have the effects that the ALCAR formula is having on me. I am fairly impressed.

Now, I am getting wood on and off, all through the nite. And this is with me doing ADS with 3-4 of Monty’s wts for several hours a day. It used to be if I used one or two for a couple hours all nite wood would disappear!

Abdominal fat is continuing to diminish, I am now showing a four pack. Those last two abs on the bottom row have been hiding for about 10 years now. I am fairly certain they will soon be showing ( thats if I lay off the sweets LOL!).

I am dialing in my workout better, which always gives me a gh surge, but with the ALCAR formula it is greatly magnified.

Some of you guys have asked how this is effecting PE for me. Well, if any of you have read my thread on Physiologic Indicators, you know that I consider increased nite wood a very positive sign of being on the right track.

Sure enough I am seeing increased girth in the past several wks. I have to conclude that the increased GH is enhancing my recovery which is allowing me to stress my unit more, and still RECOVER AND GROW.

Very much like using steroids for wt training. The more work you can do and RECOVER…the more muscle you can put on.

Because I can do more PE and not go into overtraining, it is allowing me to do more and get greater results. I am now going to add 15 minutes of pumping every other day and see what happens with that.

I can get immediate feed back with pumping because I have my tube calibrated. If I am on track I should see slight gains each time…or at least no shrinkage ( which happens when I over do it, I have lost up to 1/2 inch after one session of overtraining!)

I would agree on the recovery time thing and the night wood thing, both have been excellent for me. Yesterday I worked out much to hard at the gym I should have been sore and tired today but I’m neither.

Yes Lars my friend…it means that the increased GH has increased his ability to recover from his workout.

It means strength and size gains are on their way!!!

Dino, make sure you get rest and protein and let me know how it goes. I just went up by twenty pounds on my decline bench in the space of about 2 weeks.

Of course, I also scoured my old notes to when I had benched 355lbs about 5 years ago.

I realized I had drifted into doing way too much.

So I cut back and now my lifts are going up. I can’t say how much the GH is helping, but I know from the last time I was doing the ALCAR formula….it really helps the MAGIC to occur.

It won’t make up for a shitty routine, but it’ll make a already good routine with proper stimulation to rest ratio really take off!

This is true. I started taking Alcar w/ L-car in combination a year ago first thing in the morning and noticed an immediate energy lift both physically and mentally. Tried the acetyl + ornithine at bedtime and woke up everynight at 2am with profuse sweating.

Also noticed a greater propensity towards sleeping wood but that could have been a result of lighter/interrupted sleep from the Alcar.

In an earlier post, you seemed to suggest that the fat loss you were experiencing was the result of the NOX2, not the ALCAR/Orninthine formula. Are you now saying that the formula is contributing to your fat loss?

Yes, early on when I started with this formula, I found that the fat loss was also due to NOX2.

When I stopped the ALCAR, the fat loss continued with just the NOX2.

The fat loss on NOX2 seemed to diminish with time. When I started the ALCAR again, fat loss has picked back up to previous levels.

What NOX2 didn’t do well at all was nite wood and skin tightening. I can only guess that for me, the ALCAR kicked up the GH and amplified the NOX2 effect.

Maybe my body got used to producing higher levels of GH, that when I quit the ALCAR, slowly started to return to a normal baseline over time.

Seeing how nite wood and skin tightness as well as greater gains in the gym are not specific to any of the aminos involved, I have to assume it is the GH stimulation that is doing it.

Overall, I think that I am getting better results now than in the beginning when I first tried it. That may be a false perception, but I am definitely experiencing increased GH again.

After I quit the ALCAR formula the first time, and the NOX2 apparently was having the same fat loss effects, I continued the NOX2.

I also then experimented with other so-called GH releasers. Slowly but surely the effect seemed to lessen no matter what I tried.

When I started the ALCAR formula again a couple weeks ago, all the effects have come back. Most noticeably is excellent nite wood, which had diminished to almost nothing from my PE.

Like I said I am leaning out steadily again, as well seeing some significant gains in the gym ( may be due to workout changes) and most of all the nite wood gains.

Good question though, shows you are really paying attention!

I opened the ALCAR container to mix some with ornithine. The powder looks like sugar crystals and was so alive. At the slightest touch of the teaspoon scoop, a little spray of crystals sprayed up like a tiny fountain. Weird! Anyone else notice this?

Anyway, I hope it’s good. I’ll probably try it tonight and will report back if I observe any effects.

Ok, starting to get comments on how I look. People at the gym, my kids, my wife. Waistline is shrinking and I am getting bigger.

I’m going to take this moment to stir the pot a little. I keep hearing the so called “experts” saying that you can’t lose fat and gain muscle at the same time.

Ok, you tell me…the waistline is shrinking, the scale is going up….what do YOU think is happening?

I think the missing factor in this equation is GH!!! GH shifts nutrient partioning toward muscle building and fat burning.

Every time I dial in my workout, which means minimizing cortisol and maximizing GH, I get my waist line to shrink and get bigger and stronger.

If your GH is low, I’ll agree that it is DIFFICULT to add muscle and trim fat at the same time. But my experience shows me that if you boost GH, you can do both…effectively!

Anyway, I am going to try and stack on Tribulus and see if my head explodes! I have had it here for about one month, but I didn’t want to use it until I saw what the ALCAR formula would do by itself.

The ALCAR formula is great, no doubt. Now I’m gonna stack the Tribulus and see what happens.

Great going Bro!! I’m going out the door to dial in my workout. I’m mostly trying to lose 20 pounds from the winter but also have been getting good muscle gain with the ALCAR formula. So far with that added rogaine protection to my hair all has been well on that front so I’m hoping to stick with the formula for a while.
