Hair On Shaft Laser Removal

Hey guys!

So I decided to have a laser hair removal because I really don’t like the way pubic hair is growing on the shaft.

Basically due to PE but also because of my recent Circumcision surgery, after that, seems like some of the sack skin were pulled up more than it should have.

Anyways, the treatment I’m doing is the YAG laser type, meant to be used on dark/Asian skins.

Did my first session today and I gotta say IT HURTS!

Kinda like when you burn your skin with fire, but is a very sensitive area for me, so you get the picture.

This is a long treatment, probably 1 year or more, but I’ll keep the records here and hope it works!

Done it. 10 treatments later, I still have hair. YAG Laser. However, the hair is more sparse, less dense and the fiber of it is finer and not as scratchy. And it grows back slower.

Now I’m 13 days after the first session and the hair is falling now.

A couple days ago I got a huge ingrown hair on my shaft! It’s around 1/4” diameter right in the middle of my shaft, very painful.

I’m not sure if it’s due to the laser procedure or because of the preparation, I had to shave before doing it.

Anyways, good thing that it happened while on a decon break, it’ll help keep me away from PE

After almost 1 month that painful ingrown hair on th shaft is almost gone 👻

Ingrown hairs are often the result of shaving close, then the hair growing in a non-straight way into the skin after you cut it.

Or there’s the Gilette problem of a 4 or 5 blade razor tugging hairs upward, halfway out then the razor cutting them but because black hair is usually kinky it grows sideways and never actually erupts properly. Those, get infected and swell with puss and all.

Glad it’s almost gone, though.

On the first session 90% of the hair I had on the area fell down. 20% of those came back. So 70% of the hair is gone for now, not sure if it’s gonna come back some day.

Did the second session 10 days ago, now on the remaining areas and those hairs are starting to fall.

So far so good.

Today I did the 3rd session, a very painful one this time.

Anyways no pain no gain!

Good luck! Why did you get a circumcision as an adult? I’m doing home electrolysis on my shaft and it’s working fine for me.

Before I gave PE a try I was about to do the enlargement procedure with Dr Elist, even paid the deposit in order to schedule it. And one of the requirements was that I should be cut, and because I didn’t want to pay extra for circumcision I decided to do it in my home country where I’m covered by health insurance.

After I did the surgery I found a thread here about a guy and a bad experience with this procedure, so I decided to postpone surgery and try PE to see if it works.

The rest is history!

May I ask what you are using to do that at home?

For what it’s worth, I bought a Tria home laser device to deal with shaft hair - I had had far too much growing up my shaft and shaving wasn’t really a sustainable option, nor was plucking. So got this laser device, used it every 2 weeks. Don’t know how many times I have used it now - could probably try to estimate, but anyway most of the shaft hair has gone, to the point the rest that grows isn’t noticeable. Still doing it to get rid of the last few…

And what is the color of your skin and hair color?

It was one very similar to this one: . Has three different settings, and for small areas. Colour of skin is white, hair colour fairly dark on shaft.
