Ok I’ve been oil pulling everyday until today, I slept in and when I woke up I was late for the gym (strict hours for me which is why I had to rush and not oil pull) anyway point to this is I know I told to not eat below 1500 calories however I noticed when I oil pull I was hardly ever hungry even working out and was only able to eat maybe one meal a day, at the most two. And once I stepped up to the scale I was ready to see an increase in weight due to the lack of food and more then likely body trying to keep it all in. But uh, yeah I lost 5 pounds. Neat. :D this could just be the workout by it self however until I started oil pulling I used to eat 3 meals and snacked at night.

- Brush your lips (along with your teeth) for bigger and more vibrant lips. Help shave off dry skin on the lips and promotes blood flow to them.

A friend told me this I don’t know if it’s true. But he says they put cherry chap-stick on actors to give their lip more color. It might just be the light shining off your lips or maybe the small dye in the chap stick itself. Or it could just be our imagination. But hell, why not try right?



When you wake up in the morning most likely your face will be puffy. Splash your face with cold water for 1-2 minutes then hot water for 1-2 minutes and then back to cold water. If you really need your face to look tip-top in the morning do this.

Follow the directions of splashing your face with warm and cold water.

Then plug then drain and fill the sink up 1/2- 3/4 way and drop in about 10-15 ice cubes. Wait about 2 minutes? And dunk your face in the water. Yes it will be EXTREMELY COLD, but it re-tighten the skin and get rid of the puffy.

I have friend who are models and they proved this to me already. They show me picture of the that looked out of this world! And then when I take a picture of them with my camera it can look very unflattering. But then, they "pose" for another shop and it looks just like the picture they showed me.

Don’t believe models are very good looking. They are just good at what they do. And what do they do? Give an illusion of perfection. That + a shit load of photo-shop gives you the pictures posted on Gucci, Armani, and Guess Co.

All you need is a camera and a good friend.

Look left, right, up, down, slightly tilt your head, left, right, up, down. Find the perfect angle for your facebook, myspace, twitter, adult friend finder or whatever the fuck else you guys do. :)

Tip: your face isn’t perfectly symmetrical. Your right side might be thinner or more evenly portion then the left. So take that into consideration when taking pictures. If you find which side makes you look better, always tilt the other way exposing the flattering side to camera more. If you notice, a lot of models/actress/singers always have one look. This is because of this very fact.

Example? Johnny Drama on Entourage in the 3 or 4Th season on his show. He made a big problem when he said they can’t photograph him on his right side.

I just picked up some organic sesame oil today and will start oil pulling tomorrow. I told my mom about it and she is going to try it too. I also bought one of those nasal pots to clear the sinuses. I will post progress soon. LOVE THIS THREAD!!!

Ok so I read this somewhere and tried it and received several compliments. We went out to dinner and I wore a nice fitted black suit with a simple white shirt underneath. I put a white handkerchief folded in the coat pocket and made sure to wear some nice cuff links and a nice watch. I got so many looks with this style that the next time some friends and I went out to dinner one of them emulated the exact style I had worn before. I pulled him to the side and asked him where did he get this style and he laughed and said, “my girlfriend really liked the way you dressed last time and so I decided to see if I could pull it off.” He did pull it off very well. So this is one of the outfits I wear when we decide to go out to a nice dinner and drinks after at a more upscale bar.

NOTE: This is a start of a healthier way of life. This “diet” plan might sound crazy but it works. I’m living proof!!

Let me first start off by saying there isn’t really a diet plan. Just a list of things not to eat.

Alright let me start

DO NOT:

- No candy
- No chips
- No soda (diet soda’s included)
- No dessert!!
- No diet pills
- No major change in your diets!!

What you can do: (if you want even a bigger change.. Or if you think your man enough)

- Eat breakfast
- Try eating as much as possible. (Every 2-3 hours, smaller meals)
- Get 6-10 hours of good sleep a night
- Drink a gallon of water a day (everyone can do this.. Come on!)
- Take stairs not elevator
- Stretch before bed. (Proven to help promote weight loss)
- Listen to jelly belly’s for success

No you don’t HAVE to listen to my “What you can do” list but you MUST listen to the ” DO NOT”

If you normally eat 4 burgers 3 fries.. Keeping eating that.. Just cut out the soda’s, chips, dessert and candy. You want this to be a slow progress not a crazy cold turkey diet that will never last longer then 1 month. (Hell 1 week, But I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt)

If you have a sweet tooth there are ways to handle them. My friends who are models eat popsicles (even cream filled) for dessert or whenever they have a sweet craving. Those popsicles are low in calories so it works out. Also doesn’t mean you can eat 10 a day.

If your craving soda, drink carbonated water with lemonade. It’s proven to help relieve craving.

Hungry from all the snacks of chips/candy you have throughout the day? Eat an apple. It fills you up fast.

REMEMBER. DO NO stop your normal diet habits besides what I have mention above.

If your ingesting 8,000 calories (hypothetical if you normally did) a day but it’s still in my guidelines, your making progress.

Note: at the same time, Do not think you can substitute not eating the 2 bags of chip for another mac-double at MacDonald’s!!

Last and not least. Use common sense. It seems every diet plan or weight lost “Program” out there, the people try to look for loop holes. Your only cheating yourself. REMEMBER THAT!!

I tried to replace my ‘snack foods’ with fruit a few months back, I found for ever bar of chocolate I’d eat (which would satisfy the craving) I was having to eat 3 maybe 4 large apples instead. Now, fruit may not contain fats or salt of any discernable proportion, but they do contain ALOT of sugar, perhaps not on a chocolate bar scale, but if you are eating 3-4, it certainly adds up.

Sugar becomes a short term energy source, and why said energy source is not used, it either gets stored in the liver as glycogen for later use or stored as fat.

Now, I’m not saying ‘DON’T EAT APPLES!’, just for me, they don’t work to fill me up. You need to find a replacement fruit or snack (nuts, pulses etc.) that works for you!


Conscious effort to gain that 3/4 inch in length starts now! 21/07/09

FFS, just exercise regularly and eat healthily. You can spoil yourself occasionally as long as you do it in moderation.

I’m surprised JB didn’t mention “Cut out alcohol”. How many of you had a weight problem before you started consuming alcoholic drinks? Moderation is the important factor.

I’m surprised JB didn’t mention “Cut out alcohol”. How many of you had a weight problem before you started consuming alcoholic drinks? Moderation is the important factor.

Exactly, and some things are easier to moderate. Booze is hard to replace (for me) but with snacking there are healthier, acceptable alternatives.
