Yes there is also often an imbalance with the sides as IC muscle is basicly two muscles.
You can try different positions like lying on the side etc.
You will get more and more aware of it. At the beginning when you try too often you will make it tired and you might loose the control. Then just start again next day.
One way to train the “lift” is to pull down an errection towards the sides and try to move it back to the middle by engaging the IC muscles.
Bp tony, Matt isnt here anymore I think. You have to read the last 3 pages where are some abstracts. Looking at several anatmony pictures from different vantage points might help to visualize.
