Kegel - the secret revealed

Hey guys I have quick question on kegel interaction with IC muscle
1. When IC muscle contracts, does the penis go up or down?
2. When IC muscle expands, does the penis go up or down?
3. Why is that reverse kegels are more preferred over normal kegels when it comes down to Pre-E?
4. What does a Reverse Kegel do with IC muscle? Does it Make it CONTRACT or EXPAND?
5. What are we trying to acheive with kegel exercises; A stiff IC Muscle or A relaxed IC Muscle?

Thank you

Thank you

1.
Up and stabilized(when erect).
2.
up and swelling some when semi.
3.
Cause normal(bc muscle) kegels are also happening during ejaculation
4.
Makes them contract. They IC muscles are partly responsible for the downward push (balooning) of the other muscles.
5.
A balance.
The IC Muscle is kind of a counter muscle to BC muscles which is responsible for ejaculation. (its like biceps vs. triceps)

Understand that the IC Muscle is 2 muscles.. one of each side and connecting to the bone in a triangular shape.
Both “legs” of the IC muscles contract towards each other. They meet right at the base of the dick connecting and wrapping around the CC’s

The IC muscle is bulging when contract downwards and clenching the the penis inside but it levers the penis against the pubic making the outside portion go upwards.
The BC Muscle (normal kegel) is contracting and going upwards.
The reverse kegel is the whole pelvic floor pushing, stretching out and dropping itself down/outwards.
The IC kegel is more focused and contracting outwards toward the base and pubic pone.

The reverse Kegel can engage a IC kegel as all is interconnect in the pelvic floor.

It helps to check out diagram’s. Check attached pic

Thank you for the response. However I am still a bit confused, I hope you can clear some points for me.

- You said (with the help of attached pic) that the two legs of IC muscle will contract towards each other thereby narrowing down the distance between them. This will retract the penis off pubic bone and lift the penis up like a Lever. “Is this exactly what happens during a kegel exercise?”

- If that’s so, All of us would like to achieve Stiff IC Muscles right? Rather than loose ones

- Why did you say Penis goes up even if IC muscles relax?

So a standard kegel (pushing blood in and contraction of IC) will give you stronger erections and bring you closer to orgasm? While reverse kegel will delay orgasm, but, will aid in a stronger ejaculation?

If that’s correct, then why do people say that doing standard kegel will delay orgasm? Or am I completely incorrect in my statement?

Not sure what you mean.. I didnt say anything about retract penis off pubic bone nor that it goes up when relaxing.

The IC contraction inside levers the penis against the pubic bone.
The 2 IC muscles inside contract toward each other and “down”. Of course the wider parts of the legs cant reach each other completely at all. They press onto the inner penis to retard the outflow.(they wrap around the inner penis).

At the same time the contraction levers the penis up outside the body/beyond the pubic bone.
Like a seesaw/rocker(playground tool/machine). one side goes down(inside) other side up(outside).

BC and IC work together for an erection. The BC pumps blood in. The IC holds it in.

If they are unbalanced then erection can go bad. or when you hold the BC muscle all the time tense.. Then the IC cant contract.(like biceps vs. triceps)
So for most its better to slightly hold IC muscle during erection as many only do BC muscle training.
At best you have to engage no muscle at all during erection.

I think the pic is quiet clear on what happens. The arrows mean the direction the muscle contracts.
I have mine trained and I’m aware of it. I can sense how the two legs/sides contract towards each other.

Standard kegel engages the BC muscle.
A reverse “kegel” engages party the IC muscles.

Both can give you stronger erections.

Reverse kegel engagement holds the BC muscle off from contracting. Hence it helps avoid ejaculation. Mostly done further away from the PONR.
It can be done with the reverse kegel too during PONR if IC is really strong. But in most cases the BC muscles will involuntarily override the IC muscle. (like a strong Biceps will overrule a weaker triceps)

Standard kegel contraction if HELD steady a moment before orgasm will stop ejaculation too.

So a kegel of any kind will only avoid ejaculation, not aid in the strength?

It gets more intense and you can shoot wider and have better EQ. Can happen..

But strength is not the only need to get there…

Good control over the muscles in the pelvic floor is trained via Mind-Muscle connection.
At first trying to isolate the muscles you wont get full access.
Repeating the focus will at some point have created the connection.

Then you can train strength. At best the pelvic floor is “balanced” in its strength and you are always able to relax it all.
(you can mess up the ejaculation process when doing kegels during it. If you hold a reverse kegel/IC canceling the BC muscles then it can jsut tribble out..)

Contracting and relaxing are trained and then applied consciously to the ejaculation process which then need timing and precision. (but also raw strength)

I’m myself not 100% there yet. (will focus on it fully once I reached my size and shape goals)

Sorry for the English, I’m using a translator.

When I wake up in the mornings, I am with the erect penis, then I start to perform kegels (lying on my back), where unlike doing kegels sitting or standing I do not contract the muscles of the anus. My penis gets up and then comes back together with my pubis.
Am I using the IC muscle? , just lying down I can manage to lift my penis without contracting the anus, and I realize that I am using other muscles, sitting or standing I do not succeed, you can try and tell me, the truth is that this is what happens to me, greetings.

After reviewing the threads about kegels on TP, I would like to offer an exercise that will help identify the different muscles involved. The difficulty lies in the range of the kegel contraction. To achieve the full range, the body has to be in the correct position.

First squat with your feet flat on the floor with your back supported by a wall so that you feel relaxed with your forearms resting on your thighs.

The first thing that you will realize is that you are experiencing a full reverse kegel without any pushing. Now slowly do a kegel. Having use of the full range of motion, it will be easier to isolate the muscle groups.

The straighter your back is to the wall, the more the frontal muscles will be affected.

Kegel squats :-)

I think I just cleared up my confusion regarding the IC/PC/BC muscle groups and I’m kind of shocked!
I believe that for the last fifteen+ years I’ve been engaging the IC muscle instead of the PC muscle with what I thought were kegels. Am I confused here?

Another way to put it, when I flex my PC region, it includes my IC muscles. As opposed to the reverse kegel which is only engaging the BC muscles.
Is this right?

If so, then I think the simplest description of the exercise is to flex those muscles that are *involuntarily contracted during orgasm*, or that point the penis skywards when flexed. All this time I believed these were kegels and the PC muscles, but my suspicion now is that the PC muscles are much closer to the sphincter and perineum. If true, a lot of people might be confused because it’s deceptively simple!
Does this ring true at all? Or way off?

Hi Guys,

This is really interesting discussion. My “trick” is just to tight my anus. I am doing this from few days and the results are very nice.

So in a free time I just tight my anus. ( irregular series, short tightens)
The results are:
- balls seems to be much bigger and harder
- my “scrotum” ( the bag where balls are in) looks much more expanded + balls are heavier and the effect is like in porno movies ” balls are hanging everywhere” :)
- erection is harder (dick is harder , longer and less sensitive )

I too read this and it is pretty damn viral it seems.

This dude says (I hope im not breaking any rules here), "If you keep the tension around 30-40 seconds, your penis may shake uncontrollably in- and outwards when the IC becomes weak." ————— I tried doing this and never felt any uncontrollable shaking.

He also asserts that he got results in like 7 days, I did it for around that time and did not feel any difference. Don’t know if I am executing it right.

I am pretty damn sure for everyone out there who can get an okayish erection but cannot maintain it without stimulation, will benefit from IC training, atleast partly.

NBPL 6.4 in EG 5.4 in as on May 2018

Goal: 8.5 in long and 6.2 in thick with great EQ

I haven’t read through all the pages so if already covered my apologies.

I found an old yoga book that recommends getting in down facing dog - when in that position and I tense “down there” it really grips my IC muscle and nothing else. It is a very pleasant sensation. I will try adding the excerpt from the book as attachment to this post. Like many others I thought I was previously doing kegels but seemed to be just adding tension to my entire pelvic region. For those who feel similar and now have the sensation of chronic pelvic tension try sitz baths and also experiment with doing them alternated hot and cold.

Good luck.
