Kegel - the secret revealed

Not sure if this is the right thread or not, but…

Is Kegelling whilst doing the heating stage at the END of the Stretching/Jelqing session a good idea or not?

I heat my penis with shower water for about 7-7.5 minutes at the end, and have kegelled for this amount of time too (5 sec kegels). I wonder if this time saving method is gonna make any difference to my erections or length/girth increases, either in a good or bad way, or won’t make a difference at all?

Well I’m not too bothered about maintaining erections as much as increasing length, though I do have trouble sometimes keeping an erection during sex, so I should pay more care to kegelling. But it just means an extra 7 minutes minimum and sometimes I just want to get the whole jelqing session over with and move on. I just wonder how much kegelling helps maintain an erection and if combining kegelling while heating effects erections much.

I started PE two days ago and had some trouble doing kegels. I seemed to do more of an anus squeeze on days one an two. I found out what helped me today to isolate my pelvic floor muscles more and my anus less was to actually practice stopping my pee flow multiple times to get that muscle memory. Also, actually putting my hand on the area between my balls and anus to feel the muscle working (while making sure I wasn’t squeezing the tube that sends semen out).

So I want to bump this thread on anybody having success with IC kegel?

dickerschwanz are you still doing these? I talked to briefly with you last year about it and mentioning the testicle lift/kegel/ whatever you would like to call it. Do you still think this is the best way to target the IC flaccid? I’ve been trying to give this a serious effort now for a write on improving EQ and battling premature ejaculation. I see people state they can stop their urge to ejaculate by IC contraction. How are you doing that while edging/ having sex? Just try to draw the testicles up like flaccid?

I re-read this whole thread and realized I’ve been doing it wrong and not focusing on certain areas.so you can probably disregard my question dickerschwanz unless you have any new info.

Well, I obviously have now more experience about it.

The testicle lift is just an indicator as it is part of the motoric movement.
As it is possible to engage the IC muscle through a so called reverse kegel.

During Sex I can hold an IC kegel to keep an errection. Like for example during postion changes, pussy licking or drink pauses..
Most the times a slight hold is enough.

I also can through alternating the BC and IC muscle ballon my dick.
While the BC muscle is only shortly and intense engaged and the IC muscle is somewhat holding the blood inside(shunting off the back blood flow).

Kegels and then pelvic floor balance are my most important PE factors and a thing I will always work on. There is truly much to learn and discover.

Hey everyone, after a week or 2 of panic, and trying to figure out what is going on, I think I have. So k was extensively doing kegels without reverse kegels for about 3-4 months. Like I said, I never did a reverse kegel (unless pooping or peeing hard.) I believe I have developed an imbalance and some hard Flacid. When I feel as though I am slightly pushing down, my penis’ hard flaccid subsides. Last night I layer down with a heating pad and used it on my pelvic floor. The I relaxed the whole area and my penis hung and relaxed even better. I even kinda played with myself a bit and I got a very very strong erection. The strongest I have gotten in along time from my own stimulation. I feel as though my muscles are tight down there? So would you all recommend doing 50-70 reverse kegels every day/every other for some time, or what is your advice??

I am on my third day of a learning curve to doing pelvic floor/lower back/hamstring/glute yoga stretching which I have heard helps a lot. I am also going to stick with 2 20 min sessions a night with the heating pad.

Yes shift the focus towards revers kegels or IC kegels if you feel like the kegel or BC kegel is imbalancing it.
Still doing some BC Kegels is usefull.

For me the BC kegel doesnt have to be much stronger then holding it 30 seconds at max.
The IC kegel feels good for me to hold some minutes and I think it might mirror the function.

The more distinctions and awareness you develope the better imo.
I learned that through doing kegels in an alternating fashion. BC kegel and then immediately the IC kegel. This trains the awareness of the difference.
There is always a learning curve. At the start you might be totally oblivious to the feeling.

Yep. This is where I’m at. It is certainly strange how, as a teenager, I could easily lift a wet towel with my erection, shoot a load across the room, get and keep erections without any stimulation at all and hold my cum until I was ready. 20 years later I struggle to get erections and lose them when I change positions or stand up. Lifting a wet towel? Not a chance.

Dickerschwanz, do you have a good tutorial available to isolate and strengthen these muscles?

So what is a IC kegel? I’ll be researching this. Where do you feel your reverse kegel is working more? Under your balls or by your butthole more? As time progresses will I be better to pinpoint these movements?! And would you say it is safe to say having to somewhat push down, or feel like I am pushing down to relax my pelvic floor is good beciase it is re teaching a good muscle memory? I think I got use to being tense and now I am having to tell me self to relax sitting down and standing still

Not really its all scattered through forums and threads. Most the kegel advice you get on the web is trash(and might lead to imbalances)..also the dreaded PE advice to do Kegels everywhere in the car etc. is not good ..instead focused work as part of the routine is what should be done.
I should make a thread and write up at some point.

Im also in no way finished with my research, tests and execution in that context.

When we are young it all works on its own and then it gets more and more disturbed. I destroyed my pelvic floor and recovered + some. So its possible.

A good thing to do is the following:
Grab your dick and pull it very slightly into different directions. Scan your pelvic floor for contractions and try to relax them whenever they pop up. Relax as in letting the contraction go or pushing against it with a reverse kegel.
Notice the differences.
I think thats a good awareness training.

An IC kegel is what is described in this very thread.

The reverse kegel can be felt all over the pelvic floor and perineum. Its a kind of balooning act that stretches everything out.
Part of that rev kegel can engage the IC muscle.
The IC muscle is basicly pressing, shunting off and pushing the blood into the dick. Best seen in some anatomic pictures(google picture seach and some good links the last pages).

I can direct the reverse kegel rather good by now and most the times during errection I aim for under the balls / the perineum. At the inner base of my dick and pushing outwards and then imagined towards the glans.

While under a good maximum errection I push/baloon sometimes the whole pelvic floor and I can feel it up to the tailbone.

It gets better over time cause apart from increasing strength and endurance you are training the brain body connection and thus earn awareness and control.

It can be described as a pushing down as a tense pelvic floor is in a standing position more or less pushing up and contracting.

Alright I’ve had the reverse kegel down the , as I thought. So an ic kegel is basically a tradition kegel of flexing upward. I wanna add I am in my later teen years, and I am just looking to fix this pelvic floor instability. I am going to keep aplying heat, and reverse kegeling when I feel I am getting tense, and eventually small routine in the future once I get the tense problem under control.

Dickerschwanz, I was just wonder what had happened to you in the past and you best methods of recovery for the pelvic floor?

Ohhh I get the IC kegel, it is like that little tube right Under your balls. I can kinda feel a flex when I target it. It is certainly not as aparent as flexing a kegel by your ass hole, but I can feel a slight tingling.
