Kegel - the secret revealed

Ok actually I can do 2 kinds of kegel. The first it’s quite common, I can feel the squeeze at my prostate. The second is a much less stronger squeeze at the base of my shaft. It feels like kinda massaging the “sweet spot” while ballooning. I feel that this area is weaker and not really under my conscious control when squeezing it. Is that what we want?

I think so, thats what I have been doing for the past two days. It gets easier to locate and use the muscle.

If what I’m doing is correct, I have a few tips.

First, the position of your body seems (for me) to make it harder or easier to separate/find. I like to be seated on the floor with my upper body leaning slightly back.

Secondly, I think of the unit as split in two. Like those people that get their tongues split. At the very base of the unit, pretend you’re trying to close the pieces together. Start the tensing slowly. Its not a very strong feeling, but its there. Its hard to hold on to, but with practice it should get easier.

Lastly, and I know this may sound strange, but I found myself almost involuntarily pursing my lips. I think doing this simultaneously with the contraction of the muscle actually helps.

From what I understand yes, the feeling just behind the base of the penis is the one you want to target, the other feeling is the rectal muscles, at least for me it is. I’m starting to be able isolate just the BC muscle, but I still cant kegel “hard” without contracting both sets.

Slightly related note, I love kegels, they’re easy to do and have quick, noticeable results, my problem was that I hardly ever -remembered- to do them, so just the other day I thought of something, I put a piece of masking tape on the dash of my car, something I would see every time I get in it, seeing the tape reminds me to do my kegels but to any other person its just a piece of tape and think nothing of it. I’m in my car for about 10 minutes per drive, 4 times a day going back and forth to work, so for the last week I’ve gotten in about 40 minutes a day without forgetting. Just thought I’d share, maybe it will help someone else that keeps forgetting like me.

I’m not 100% sure that this is what we’re trying to do, but I try to imagine it like doing a lock at the base of the shaft (like in jelqing) but with the muscles in the area.

Does it make sense?

Maverick — I love the tape idea. I’m definitely going to try this.

As for locating the IC someone described a method of kegeling a while back (don’t remember who) where they could kind of pulse the sides of the base while flexing the BC (he called them butterfly kegels I think); I believe he was talking about the IC without knowing it. Instead of pulsing I try to hold it as long I can. While I can hold a standard kegel for about 5 minutes or so I can only hold this IC flex for about 15 seconds. I think this is a good sign as this is something I have yet to strengthen.

My only recommendation is to look at the Wikipedia diagrams posted earlier and then mentally focus on those areas. It kind of feels like the muscles are pinching the interior penis from the left/right (I think this is in fact what the IC actually does—keeping the penis erect in a manner similar to a cable clamp). With experimentation and practice you will get it (I am of course assuming I’m doing this right, which I may not be lol).

@Matt356: So if I want to voluntarily stop ejaculating, which muscle do I have to contract or relax immediately before ejaculation?

To me yes. The lock is just under the skin a little bit deeper.

If somebody smokes pot then I recommend him to do the kegels while on weed. The improved body consciousness makes it easier to locate the right area and feelings.

Utogant: this page 5 is really good for showing IC and BC from side: You can see what is under and what is over the shaft.

About Your question (You can see it easily on this page): To hold ejaculation(with strong erection): IC to contract but to DELAY it’s bc to relax (makes erection more soft).

OK, I think I have something useful for some of you who still think how to concentrate on IC.

Sit down on any medium chair. Think about your bottom. When you sit for a very long time,you start to feel kind of pain in two points down there. Those are two parts of ischial bones. Both IC sticks to them on the most central line of our body.
Now concentrate on dorsal surface of your flaccid penis right in front of the pubis. It’s important to start from this state. Now try to “hang” or “pull up” this surface so that you will feel like your penis is being tensed and hangs a little bit higher. It’s a bit hard and difficult but eventually you will feel it. NO TENSION IN PELVIS IS ALLOWED AT THIS POINT. You will feel a little bit of “hard” tension, with nearly zero movement of your anus but you will feel it little tight presents.
Now try to achieve semi-erection with slow stimulation of your penis. Still concentrate on the hanging-penis-feeling from the beginning part. You will feel your penis more aroused and “able” to ride.
Then continue stimulation and achieve full erection - still concentrating on this specific “penis-hanging-dorsal-pulling” feeling. When you are fully erected you will feel it working and you will be able to move your penis without using your hands.
If you are going to stimulate until ejaculation, you will feel that this tension can control this state and while “hanging” you will be able to delay semen. You can play like this as long as you wish without loosing erection!
REMEMBER: DO NOT concentrate on anything but the medium, central line that goes threw your pelvis. No interest in bottom, abdomen, special concentration on anus or any. The dorsal part of your penis is the most important one. ENJOY!

Hello can any body plz update some videos about kegeling,I realy don’t know how to perform it

I think that it’ll be a tough challenge to make a video that shows how to kegel.

A while ago on Showtime or HBO they had a British show with a man and a woman host that would go around and critique people in relationships unhealthy sex life. On one episode the girlfriend was complaining her boyfriend did not last long enough. So the male host instructed the boyfriend to take a bath towel and place it on his erect penis and and build up the muscles by lifting up the towel. A few weeks later he was gaining more and more control of ejaculating. Maybe this is the muscle everyone is talking about and an easy exercise to isolate it.

I have 2 of such videos. But they are not mine, I have them from some commercial pages from the net. Can I put them here?
