Seriously why is circumcision still done today

IF there’s no medical reason for it, and who the hell is religious these days? (Spiritual yes, but religious?) Why do babies still get this done. I honestly wish it wasn’t done to me. If there’s no need for it, there’s no need for it!

I dunno.. cause it looks nice and any girl that I’ve been with who’s been with both tend to agree. It’s more sanitary? Studies have shown it reduces risk of contracting HIV in Africa. :p I dunno.. Cause my parents did this to me?

Why do ‘parents’ still do this? I agree, it should be left up to the individual when he is old enough to make that decision for and by himself.

Actually uncircumcised is much more pleasant for the female. There is less friction so there is less need for lubrication.

Also there is a very high number of nerve endings in that part of your unit. So you would reduce pleasure during intercourse without it.

Also the nerve endings on the gland become less sensitive because they come in contact with clothes etc. all the time. This also reduces pleasure.

I have heard about the reduced risk for HIV. However I have also heard the exact opposite.

I have once heard that circumcised men in general have a higher desire for anal sex that could be explained by the reduced number and sensitivity of nerves.

There are medical indications for circumcision, but in those countries where circumcision is done for medical rather than religious/cultural reasons, the incidence is rather low.

As to why it’s still being done, I suspect it is because there are a lot of myths and misconceptions about the supposed ‘benefits’.

Circumcision and HIV

It’s just tradition. From the dads point of view, he remembers the weird guy in gym class who was still sporting his night cap and doesn’t want his kid to be that guy. Debate aside it’s there for a reason, it keeps the glans safe and sensitive and there really isn’t a practical reason for circumcision anymore other than cosmetics.

There are some practical reasons, but they are few, and certainly not enough to justify routine circumcision absent a a clear medical indication.

Despite the above fact and lack of valid medical reason for circumcision, new born circumcision rate did not change much in USA. Mostly mothers prefer circumcision more than fathers.

Also according to some studies, women even those with uncircumcised partners find circumcised penises more visually appealing and better for their sexual arousal. To most women circumcised penises look cleaner, too.

Oh yeah. Also it can become painfull for circumcised men to get an erection because there is simply to little skin there. (Try to image the suffering.)

Coming from a circumcised man, me, I have no problem with sensitivity or pleasure and I have great premature ejaculation problems.

And what’s more pleasurable, little friction or friction? To me, little friction is not pleasurable.

I’m glad I have it. I don’t deal with schmegma and I don’t have any of the “problems” that people talk about. It seems better for PE routines like hanging as well.

I always thought the main reason was aesthetic. Uncircumcised looks rather ugly if the foreskin does not get drawn back all the way during an erection.

These surveys were done in a country where circumcision is the norm, right? The women are showing a preference what they’re used to, what they view as normal.

Conduct this survey in a country where circumcision is rare, and see what the result is. I’ll bet you that the average woman from the UK, France, or Germany would view a circumcised penis as mutillated.

I need mainly mental stimulation for erection. If I’m not mentally turned on, the best hand or oral job in the world can’t make it hard.
