If you are worried it will cause a panic attack, it will…thats the way it is with anxiety disorder.

You should look into trying 5 HTP and see if it helps. If you are taking other medications, you shouldn’t combine them.

Another substance you can think about trying is wellbutrin. It is a anti-depressant which raises dopamine levels. It has been known to also raise libido unlike other anti-depressants which kill it.

I’m not under any stress anymore. Power lifting to me is 100lbs. And there is no way in a thousand years that I will ever smoke marijuana.

If your prone to anxiety then the increase in Dopamine, nonphreine, etc could make anxiety worse.

5 htp and L-tryptophan(chemically similar) might not help libido but it probably would ease your anxiety and calm you down just like an ssri would.

X2, SSRI’s are penis killers, very anti-PE. Wellbutrin and Ritalin are drugs Doc’s give to restore sex drive while on ssri’s.

Well generally working out ups your mood and well-being. Lifting heavy raises test levels. I’m no libido Doctor but maybe you need more free testosterone.

Over at bodybuilding forum lots of people say they didn’t get a negative side effect on libido and a small percent said it both boosted and lowered libido(looking at the poll).

Another update. I am getting very good PI’s with this L-tyrosine. To the point where I am thinking I may have started growing. :)

No anxiety whatsoever. Quite the opposite. I haven’t figured out yet if I should be taking it in the morning or evening, I tried both and can’t tell yet. I feel awake during the day, but in the evening, where I used to normally be bored and restless, not wanting to go to bed and just staying up, last several nights I would just lay down on the couch when the bed time comes, supposedly to rest for just a minute, and wake up a few hours later in the middle of the night, LOL! So for me it has been working as a daily cycle normalizing thing - a tonic and a sleep aid all in one. I can only explain it by the increased sense of well-being effect. I am awake when it’s time to be awake, and I am calm and peaceful when it’s time to rest.

I am planning on sticking with this stuff for a while. And of course, keep measuring myself, LOL. ;)
