I’ve been having alot of pain over the past few months in the groin area. Doctors think it could be a hernia(although I never told them that I was Peing). But I can’t get in to see a urologist for some time. I decided to cut out erections as much as possible to see if it could be a lig problem and heal it up.

Well it seemed at times that it would be painful when I got an erection. Since I’ve been on a break I’m not feeling the pain even close to as much. Although I also starting working out(could be referred back pain) and sleeping in a bed as opposed to a floor, at the same time. I’ve always had back problems and was having back pain too. I just want the pain to go and be able to start PEing. It doesn’t seem like I’ll ever get on a good routine. Something always comes up. Frustrating!

Those are some pretty tough questions that you propose. Also, when looking for a specific problem, a generic “groin area” is kind of hard to respond to a question about pain. I would second Random Giants question about if you are sure that it is your ligaments that are injured. My guess is that you are still getting erections during sleep, so is there pain then that is sufficient to wake you up?

Secondly, if it is a ligmaent that is damaged, they may not heal on their own. I would think that a torn ligmament would be unusual as it would require a good deal of effort to achieve, but if it is the problem, it will only be determined by diagnostic equipement that your physician has.
