Napoleon Hill is a guru.. Do you really think this kind of mindset would grow your dick bigger?

If you knew anything about his philosophies you’d benefit in all areas of your life.

I dunno who that is, but yes I personally do. I didn’t mean to sound like you should become a cocky asshole, just sometimes people get caught up in negative thoughts and it takes that kind of extreme method to train yourself to quit worrying all the time. You definitely shouldn’t become a douchebag :P.

The reason I think that it will have a large effect is that it is probably the one part of your body most in tune with your emotions physically. I’ve heard it be called a “barometer for emotions” before, which makes sense. You get visible feedback to changes in your mood and attitude. Generally, when you’re feeling crappy, stressed, bummed, scared, your dick will hang much smaller. This also means less blood is flowing through, which from what I have heard, means less healing/growing. On the other hand, when you are relaxed, happy, and just overall feeling confident and good about life, you get a nice healthy hang, with more blood and better healing. So while I believe a good mentality could help you in many aspects of life in some way, this seems like a pretty definite relationship. I think I made it sound like you should attain a very egotistical attitude in my first post, but I didn’t mean to. I just think that sometimes it takes thoughts like that in order to condition your mind to stay away from less productive negative thoughts. Eventually, between the good and the bad, a healthy equilibrium should emerge hopefully, which could also lead to better gains.

And once you start feeling better and attain a better flaccid, that feeds your good mood and a positive vicious cycle is created :D .

Sorry for the delay in replying to this (and I’m wondering if I even should, as this thread has kind of gone off the rails). No, I’m not lactose-intolerant. I drank milk every day for most of my life until I started eating primal/paleo. I still drink whipping cream in my coffee and use butter and cheese liberally, though. Milk, though, has started to produce unpleasant results.

Group 3 = 50% physical training with 50% mental training

Group 4, with 75% of their time devoted to mental training, performed the best. “The Soviets had discovered that mental images can act as a prelude to muscular impulses.” (Scaglione & Cummins 1993)

I should also point out that the act of reading has been found to produce a virtual experience in your mind. EMG studies of brain has shown that brain activity can be identical whether reading about a physical movement or actually doing that movement.

Damn those pesky Russians they forgot sleep, 7hrs per day of sleep is ~29% plus a little bit of relax time would bring it to over 33%. :)

26.3% to be exact!

If you like a combined rest time and sleep time of 6.3 hours in 24 hours, personally I prefer more.

Yep. Also just feeling like crap. Speaking of which, yesterday was my birthday celebration, which meant I ate poorly including Chinese food (MSG+Sugar+Wheat+Rice) and cake. I don’t feel well this morning.
